The delight of Heinz beans with sausages has brought me joy yesterday and today.

In these stressful times I have, as man does, turned for comfort in the sausage sandwich. Yesterday we tried the Asda Pork & Choritzo Sausages and today we compared them with our favourite Morrisons ones of the same combination. Both fabulous but in different ways. If you haven't tried them, do, it's a great slightly smokey bbq taste from the pimenton in the choritzo. Morrisons Pork & Choritzo Sausages in home made bread for lunch today!

On a slightly sausage related note, Tesco do sticks of cheese which have pepperoni wrapped round them!

Pork and sweet chilli sausages in a baton this evening for my supper. That will do nicely.

Oh yeah. And I repeat my earlier (unanswered) question to Ralph A sausage roll or a sausage in a roll? I'd go for the latter personally.

This was a Level 3 Hangover so only a sausage roll was required. Rolls with sausage are for Levels 6 and above.

Now available in supermarket deli sections: cheese with pepperoni wrapped round it in a stick-like sausage-shaped manner!

I had sausages for lunch. A lack of roles forced me to use Brioche instead. It worked but it wasn't great.....

Brioche does not go with sausages! Bad Phil!

Needs must. I'll get some proper rolls for Wednesday lunch when I have the rest.
I also forgot about my pot of Sainsbury's Tomato Chutney which I meant to have with them!

So! I was thinking, I wish I didn't like meat so much, but why is it that a society that can put a man on the moon, a human ear on a mouse and a computer in a matchbox can't make convincing imitation meat out of veggie matter without actually growing an animal? And now we can: Synthetic meat grown in Dutch lab

Greggs are piloting sausage rolls with tomato sauce in the middle of the sausage.

That...angers me.
There was also anger today when I purchased an inferior roll in sausage from a Morrisons cafe as I was stuck in a certain part of Edinburger for a certain while inbetween appointments for reasons too stupid to mention. It was greasy yet tasteless and the roll was sub-par.

Greggs are piloting sausage rolls with tomato sauce in the middle of the sausage. I am less than enthused by this concept. Tomato Sauce is not something I wish to find in the vicinity of my sausage roll, especially not hiding inside it. Karl

I once had a burger with cheese inside it which was nice.
Sausage rolls should be served with fried onion.

I love fried onion! We had stir fried beef for dinner with cashews and strips of carrot, onion and garlic. Delicious!
