Bought some Animated/Movie recolour toys with birthday money but later had to sell/give them away other than the Animated Prime/Megatron 2-pack (£20).
At AA I picked up:
-Full set of Firecons £3
-Micromaster Race Car Patrol £4
-Micromaster Air Strike Patrol £4
-Micromaster Powertrain £1
-Crosshairs (now reunited with Pinpointer) £3
-Flywheels (complete, with gun and instruction booklet) £4
-Action Master Axer robot £3
-Encore Ratchet £18
-Encore Ironhide £18
-MISB G2 Windrazor £3
At the end of the year I picked up a Movie Big Daddy and Fracture and was given a Movie Breakaway and Universe Blaster. Folk chipped in for a set of new Seacons for me. Phil sent me a G2 Legends Megatron, and I picked up Jazz and Hound.
So in the end I spent about £107 in 2008 on TF toys.

Ooh, crikey. Well, if you saw it appear in my "goodies in stock" thread in 2008, then it also appeared in my collection. Plus some other stuff besides.

Briefly.
Well there was the Liokaiser giftset at the beginning of the year.
Then ther was another one later on.
Yahoo Japan also provided:
a few dozen BW figures in all states.
3 sets of trainbots
Trainbots giftset.
Loose set of Dinoforce.
Loose sBlack Zarek.
Pink movie SS.
Boxed Star Sabre
Boxed Victory Leo.
Henkei TC and SW
some loose Breastforce members.
Boxed Fire Convoy and God Magnus.
Boxed CR car brothers
Boxed CR Spychangers
and other assorted junk.
Then there was Botcon and its Shattered Glass set and a 2005 Botcon set and 2006 Tigertron (I won that one). Selected junkers.
All Animated except for Lugnuts that have been released in the UK. Plus a couple of Universe and the odd movie piece. A few bits from car boot sales as well.
TFCC Seacons and Knightbeat.
And Bumblejumper.

EDIT:
A lot of those items were sold off during the year, the 2nd Liokaiser was relatively cheap (missing the head and two weapons) and I sold the complete one for around a £100 profit so I effectively have a set that only cost me £100-150.
I still spent way to much money, I blame having a good paying job and a too good to be true exchange rate.

Habogah... The Yen rate last year was indeed glorious, but I didn't buy much on YJ mostly because everyone else on my proxy service seemed to be watching the same auctions I was and jumping in first! From the look of that list, I guess it was you a lot of the time  -Nick |

Could be although I almost never got directly into a bidding war with any other SMJ user though as i could never work out who was winning, I missed out on a lucky draw Black Fire Convoy that I thought I had won because of that.
