Found on AmazonUnless it's a ghost listing, I imagine it's a compilation of the two completed series, going by the page count. Makes sense. The DW and IDW trades of both are out of print and there's still demand for it. -Ralph

I might give this one a skip as I have vol.1 and was unimpressed with vol.2. How long though do you think until the fanboards get excited thinking this *might* include a finished vol.3??

Any second now I think.

It may include TWW Vol 3?
*Boom*
No wait, I have the issues anyway.
I can't see that it would include Vol3 myself, though the page count (312) looks like a placeholder. Someone has probably counted the pages in TWW Vol 1 and 2 to get the figure.

Phantom listings tend to turn up on amazon well in advance of trades being formally solicited. The page count probably is an error. I will strip naked on the Hub if the 3 completed issues from TWW III are included. IIRC they are among the issues that can never be reprinted due to the Dreamwave implosion and various legalties re: non-payment of creators.

Lets just hope that TWW vol 3 doesn't turn up in the book then. Ralph may just turn the Hub into some kind of porn site otherwise and we might have to start charging people subscription fees.

I am so confident on my prediction that if TWW 3 is included not only will I pose naked on the Hub but I will do it while dancing around a large pile of Marvel UK TF comics while waggling a sausage.

I thought waggling a sausage comes part and parcel with anyone who dances around naked.

For once, I was speaking of the kind of sausage that is eaten.

True. Some of the websites I've visited don't have a sausage in sight.

The Amazon US listing confirms it is a reprint of the first 12 issues. So volumes 1 and 2 combined then. Phew. The Hub is spared my nakedness.

The book has been solicited for a February 2009 release.

Once again, IDW trade solicitations are not 100% accurate. The book is digest sized, ie smaller than normal trade size, which was not mentioned in the solicit!*. Now it looks OK, but FFS IDW advertise your stuff properly. Do you not want my money?
-Ralph
*I presume this goes as same for the other Omnibus volumes?

Oh god really? Damn! I hate digest sized things. I have to squint enough at comics as it is!

Proper digest size Ralph, or similar size to the latest Sin City trades?

Erm, um, it looked the same size as the Dark House Alien/Terminator/Star Wars/Indiana Jones digests. Smaller than a regular comic.

That's the same size as the Sin City ones. Cheers!

What stories are in this? Does it include 1+2 and the few bits of 3 that were released?

No it doesn't include any of Volume 3.

IDW cannot reprint any of Volume 3 as there remains dubiety over whether creators were paid for their work on it.
