In lockdown, being stuck at home, I have been spending less money in total, but more money on Stuff, on account of the Interweb being so accessible 24/7 and also knowing I will normally be in whenever the postman comes with a package.
So among other things I have been replacing the Marvel TF annuals I lost years ago to dampness with near-mint copies when I see them advertised. Made most effort to get the last two again (to add to the third-to-last one which I already had a good signed copy of), because the last three haven't been fully reprinted anywhere.
Perfect copy of the 1992 annual arrived this week. Had to pay a lot for it but worth it to have 'Another Time and Place' again in all its glory. And I'd forgotten about the colour Combat Colins contained in it, including the Combat Rhyming Slang masterpiece (which Lew has yet to reprint)!
