Octane might take a look at the book. There was one Season 3 cartoon episode (I think it may have been Starscream's ghost) where he was ogling a picture of a fembot.

Bloody hell. Now I quite like the fembot characters (Arcee, Blackarachnia, etc) for absolutely no logical reason but this idea? Awful!

For one horrible moment I thought this topic rising to the top of the screen meant the book was back on. Thankfully, no such news has been forthcoming.
Previously, I would have said IDW would not have touched this with a bargepole, but considering the huge slump in quality this year, I'm not so sure now.
