I always dreamed of pitching a Goldbug story to IDW because I was sure no-one would ever use him.
So it better be good for crushing my pipe-dreams!

A. Rant. On. The. Poor. Value. Of. This. Comic. Would. Be. Well-founded. I. Managed. To. Read. It. In. Just. Two. Minutes.
At. Least. It. Answers. The. Bumblebee. Goldbug. Question.

If you ever wanted to read Spotlight: Throttlebots, in which our favourite crap pull-back-and-go Autobots get ten shades of shit kicked out of them by Sixshot, this is the comic for you. And I did! So now I'm looking forward to this!

I would agree with Ralph's comment about it not really being about Metroplex, but it was enjoyable enough. Much more of an earlier IDW feel to it and substantially better than AHM.

That was okay I guess. A bit underwhelming and too short. Also nothing much happened. Still, far better than AHM. Also who is Jiaxus

Didn't pick it up because Marvel UK did humungous robot kicks off much better and this was underwhelming.

I actually quite enjoyed this one. Certainly more entertaining than the previous "volume 5" Spotlights. And the Throttlebots were fun, too.

I also really liked this Spotlight - first time I've bought a TF comic since Max Dinos ended. Reminded me of the "enclosed yet part of an ongoing arc" story style of early CG2.

It was, ehhhhhhh, alright I guess. It looks pretty enough, but nothing really happened. I only read it a couple of hours ago and it's already pretty much fallen out of my head...

I've just ordered it from Steve Bax and I'll get around to reading it about a week after it has arrived considering how long I leave a comic book before reading it.

Not quite as pointless as the Cliffjumper one, but pushing it close! To be fair though, I am, despite myself, actually wondering what Metroplex's grand purpose is.

Fun stuff, but Metroplex seems an afterthought in his own comic.

It really should not be called Spotlight: MetroplexNo, it should be called Floodlight: Metroplex! ;D I'm more than a little intrigued about Metroplex's mission, especially as this is set before AHM, which effectively means there could have been something pretty big brewing in the background of AHM that we didn't know anything about. I agree that for a Metroplex comic, his role was scant, but I suspect that this comic may be due for a reassessment when whatever is its mysterious happening actually happens.
