Strange show this. It revolves around US advertising execs at the start of the 1960's. Which sounds dull as ditchwater, but it's surpisingly engaging with some solid acting and scripting. Great sense of time and place too. Worth a watch. Season 2 just started on BBC4 and is on the iplayer.

If it is up on ye Iplayer I may well give it a go. Karl

Season 1 is enjoyable enough to begin with, but about halfway through some magic lever is pulled and the quality of writing just shoots up.

Necro-bump!
Finally, finally got to the end of the show. After watching a bit of the show early on I grabbed he 1-4 boxset and late season 5 on bluray. Then kept up with it on Sky up until the second half of the last season which I somehow lost track of.
2 or 3 years later it finally appeared on Netflix and I got to finish it. Lots of thoughts rattling around my head, but comes down to what a great ending they pulled off. Life goes on and they could easily have launched a couple of good to great spin offs based on how it ended, but at the same time there felt like proper resolutions for everyone.
That kind of open ended end is how I really would like IDW to leave things. Somewhere fanfiction or a later revival can naturally continue, but doesnt need too.
