Well, I just spent all evening, from probably about 8 PM-ish til about twenty to one AM colouring the image I threw together for IDW's current line-art comp on photoshop, finished, smirked, saved and closed photoshop. I then dragged the file into infranview to see how it would look at a size suitable for the web, and the file wouldn't open. I tried to open it as a windows preview. Wouldn't happen. I opened photoshop and tried to retrieve it there. No chance. Apparently there was an error whilst saving. So now I'll have to start it again from scratch, whenever I can be bothered... Why does this crap happen to me?

Ugh, that is one of the worst things that can happen. I managed to do that twice in one day once!

I forgot I posted here last night. I must have been pretty tired...

I saw! I really really like your art there, and the colours work well with it, definately more sympathetic to the lines than the Ratchet piece!
Storywise, I like the idea behind it, but not really the execution (shooting something that explodes doesn't really seem as 'clever' as the tale seems to think it is).

Yeah, I get that. But then, his teacher was Wheeljack, and most of his projects involve making things 'splode.

Looks fab.
John Paul's colours complement your work quite nicely.

@andy; Yeah, Bove and I didn't talk to each other until after the thing was released (Franco did all the arranging and middleman work), but we both agreed we'd like to collaborate again.
Thanks, guys!

Very very nice, is this based on the Universe version?

Yep, yep. Slight alterations to the transformation, nothing they couldn't pull off with a larger figure class.

Warpath, beautiful. The barbed wire effect at the bottom is a nice touch.

I've never got anything bad to say about your illustrations. Everytime you put one up it seems to be as good as or better than some of the art I've seen in IDW's comics.

QUALITY stuff as always Ed. I wouldn't be surprised if that Verity pin-up was used by IDW.

Ed, I hope you can find time in the future to draw Jimmy and Hunter as well. You'll have to draw boys when you go pro!
Their last scene in Maximum Dinobots is my last memory of them.

Graham has added the complete tale to the main Hubris site now, so here's my original lines for the three page tale Split Decision.

Me and my brother have had this Mosaic sitting around for well over a year, written by Ben and drawn by me. Recently, John Paul Bove agreed to colour it up. He sent me a little teaser for it last night, and I'm here to tell ya, I think it's absolutely gorgeous. So here it is! Odd how the two most current Mosaics I'm involved with feature into the Animated movie quite heavily...

Now, what he's done just around the edges of the robot is a very nice and subtle detail. But I fear this picture is begging to have a silly caption attached to it... something like "Whew...! This... handle... thing... on my back... is heavy...!" Or "Been sitting cross-legged... too long... can't... get... up!" Martin

Haha, don't worry. The dialogue which appears in this particular panel goes something along the lines of;
Dialogue box: My name is Galvatron, and as of two minutes ago I lead the Decepticons. Galvatron: I will obey... Unicron! Dialogue box: Things have not started well.
