Ed, just catching up with this thread. Ironfist and Rotorstorm are both absolutely fantastic. There is a lot of personality in those images.
I think I prefer Rotorstorm - you just seem to have captured the laidback sensibility of his facade.

Thanks guys. I think I'm most proud of what went into the Ironfist one, but Guzzle is still my overall fav.
I guess it goes without saying that Pyro will be along sooner or later...

Lovely stuff. I like the pose on Lightspeed, it has a nice sense of movement to it - you get the sense of him gathering himself to strike out with the blade as soon as it is drawn.
The Ironfist is great - a real sense of the character to it. Not sure if it was intended that the head seems to be partly retracted into the hood but I like it whether or not it was deliberate, it evokes his LSTW characterisation a bit in the way he seems to be subconciously in two minds as to whether to try to get away from the situation in front of him or stand up to it.

Thanks, Karl. In regards to Ironfist's head placement; the toy is actually like that. Or at least, MINE is.

Thanks. I wanted to give him a proud, heroic pose... yet still look confused. I think that sums up his character better than anything.

You've certainly summed up his character nicely. And now I feel sad thinking about his fate in LSOTW.

Yeah, but that is only the official fiction. No reason the rest of us should feel restricted.
Oh and nice image Ed. Personally the whol "I have headlights instead of eyes" things doesn't work for me but apart from that personal niggle it is a really nicely staged and really well realised image. Feels a bit like a movie poster or something actually. Except that the tag-line would have to be something like "The Bad, the Worse and the Bug-looking."

Thanks, guys! Personally the whol "I have headlights instead of eyes" things doesn't work for me I didn't realise they looked that bright! It's a personal taste thing I guess; I like the eyes to look illuminated, in the case of the red-eyed guys somewhat like the burning of hot coals... but I find red eyes to be particularly tricky to do. Sometimes they come out not red at all... Pink, yellow... bugs me. Either way, I guess Carnivac's eyes should have been purple anyway!

I didn't realise they looked that bright! It's a personal taste thing I guess; Very much so, and I think I am very much in the minority of people for whom it doesn't work.It is a personal quirk of mine that has become more pronounced over the years (as I start to rust a bit and get generally cantankerous). I dunno, as they are they kind of co-ordinate with his trim colour. :-) Karl

That looks really spiffy! Only thing I'd say would be to cut down on the 'lens flare', I think you've gone a bit overboard on Megatron Less is more (at least that is what I tell the ladies)

Grimlock and Megatron, head to head in a little bit of a trademark dispute. Yesssss. Nice image - very reminiscent of classic comic covers. For my tastes they are probably a bit too shiny and reflective looking - but I can very much see your reasons for doing that though. Good stuff.
The mosaic is a cracker. You have done a really nice job of paying tribute to the original art style and I like the panel layout as well as it complements the action nicely. The sting in the tail of the narration is fantastic. I didn't see it coming when I read through it the first time and it works very nicely as a pay-off.
