Thanks for the positive comments, guys! Karl, I used to get the british reprints of Archie's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures comic religiously as a child, so my style is no doubt rather influenced by the artist from the end of the run, Chris Allan. Somewhere between him and the newer cartoon from... 2005, was it? I was always absolutely gutted when the issue had UK original stories in it every other week or so. They were absolutely terrible. God, I wish Archie would release TMNTA in trade form for the 25th anniversary... I think there is a trade coming out and something for the Forever Wars or something too. I also keep in contact with Dean Clarrain now and again, so I'll ask more about it. I really got into TMNTL Adventures myself. I owe a lot of my drawing influence to Ken Michroney. And yes, the original UK stories were horrible and made a bigger mockery of TMNT than the old toon did. I think a lot of 25th Anniversary stuff is being held back till later in the year in light of everything else having the same birthyear. There is a one-off animated feature with the old toon TMNT teaming up with the newer toon TMNT due out in November. Great Donatello sketch. Proper TMNT are definitley pupil-less. ===KEN

I think a Graham-Thomson-produced glossy-paper art book/mag of all your best TF work in printed format is called for. (I'm calling for it, anyway. ) Martin Seconded! Actually - it would be nice to have an "Art of TMUK" glossy artbook that had pages from the best TMUK as a while had to offer.

It has a big, friendly '1' at the bottom of the spine, so my fingers are crossed for more! I had read things on and off about the Forever Wars for a while... it seems to have been rumoured for years, so I wasn't holding my breath. If we actually ARE going to get it, then fantastic! that new animated special sounds oddly compelling... Will the original voices be back for that?

Here's a bit of in-progress work on my tribute to Mr. Corlett. I could not get the Beast Machines version to look right. Never mind, I'm hoping that colours will fix my doubts later on.

And here's the final one for Mr. Corlett. I'm not putting this up on DA or anything until I've given him his copy, but I'll let you guys see it here. Special. Special for you. Special price. For you.

Guests are paid additional rates to specifically not laugh in attendee's faces.

The ladybird is a classy touch. The scorpion robot seems fascinated by it.

Hehe. I have to be honest, when I drew this it wasn't my intent for Quickstrike to look so contemplative over the ladybird. I threw that bug in as a kind of afterthought without paying any attention to how it related to the Fuzor. It was only after other people started to see it that I realized how obvious that interpretation was. Not that it bothers me any. It amuses me just as much as it amuses anyone.
