Hands up if you like 6inch Titaniums! Come on! Let's see 'em! You know mine's up! My hand I mean. (argh, that joke was almost as bad as one of Doc's!)

I've only got the one - Rodimus Prime and he's quite spiffy. I was going to get the War Within Prime but the reports of the shoddy build quality put me off.

Well, I suppose you can join the 6 Inch Club, And, but usually I like more commitment than just one figure!

I think that metal parts are appropriate in places. I just think that "in the hands of Galoob" is not one of them.

Indeed. Some of the designs look quite nice (Magnus in particular), but the many reports of bad build quality put me off. Also, some of them have looked obviously badly made in the boxes.

You who are not of the 6 Inch will be Kung-Fued on the Fan-Bean, curse you all!
In all seriousness, yes some of the design/construction was a bit dodgy (Soundwave's wearing a nappy for heaven's sake!). I just had my 6 inchers in my hands the other day, and I just go all weak-at-the-knees for the metal, weight and styles. War Within Megatron looks so powerfull and smoldering. They managed to get some great face/head sculpts too. And there's something about the 'clumsey' designs that seem to remind me of G1. Now I'm not saying G1 figs were clumsey in their construction, back then they were amazing figs. But these days we expect more from our figs than from vintage G1 (eg articulation/poseability) and there's something in the odd dodgy design flaw of 6" Titaniums that reminds me of those early figures.
As a 'collectors' line, I thought they were wonderfull and allowed some great molds to be realised (not least the War Within designs). I couldn't have seen the line branching out into other TF eras. Maybe an Infiltration style Megatron, or even a G2 Jihaxus, for example.
So, who else wants to join the 6 Inch Club?!

Holy Cow! So much to talk about from the Botcon Figure News! I'm really quite excited, but I'm trying to keep myself calm...
AAAAARRRRRGH!!!!!! TITANIUM PROWL!!!!!!!!!!
...I failed.
So, Titanium exclusives War Within Prowl, Skywarp and Grimlock. Oh joy of joys. I'm not counting my whatsernames until it is confirmed confirmed and confirmed again. But if it's true my life will be complete.
But generally some great stuff to get feverishly excited about!
Shockprowl is happy!

My word, the innuendo to be had in this thread!
As long-time Hubbers know, my first experience of the 6" left a bitter taste in my mouth. After the lamentable quality of WW Optimus Prime and that Megatron tank, I was sworn off the rest of the range.
The new WW Prowl looks gorgeous, but, nothing will persuade me again to clasp at a 6".

I'm afraid that an increase in inches can only lead to further problems of looseness.

I am one happy mother-hubber at the moment. (took me the whole day to reform my brain).
OH THANKYOU LORD!
I am litterally sick with excitement. *BLUUURRRRRP!!- SPLAT!!* See...
But we need a strategy meeting here. TRU, Toys R Us right? How readily available will these two (and Skywarp while I'm at it) gunna be over here? I must be ready! I must prepare!!!

You can add 2 more to your wants list after yesterday .... Magnus is the only one I have owned and I didn't keep it long. As mentioned elsewhere, I'm violently excited 'bout Prowl. I feel physically ill infact! Oh sweat mercy... The open wound in my collection that's been eating away at my soul will be healed! It's actually 3 to get. 'Cos Skywarp is vital and Grimlock looks fantastic also. More sweat talking of Mrs Shockprowl me thinks! I'm affraid though, Phil, you now rank among the Anti-6inchers. You're possiblily Nick's second-in-command with your disrespect for Magnus! Thompson I think I can convince to come back into The Light! Just a tickle here and there with a Prowl and/or Grimlock and he'll be a 6 Incher! And Nige (clearly a very wise chap) is in. You know, I think the 6 Inchers maybe out numbering the non-Titanium loving crazyies amoung us!
