It's been a while since we tried to organise a proper meet-up down Glasgow way. Anyone fancy it? I was thinking first Saturday of May, which is free comic book day and that silly Wolverine movie is in the cinemas if anyone fancies it.
I can promise a new round of:
THE YOMTOV FACTOR

I can't. I have a friend's 30th birthday that night.
Balls.

I'm sure I could be available at some point in may. Friday nights or weekends are better for me for obvious reasons. (There are a couple of public holidays we get but I shall have to check those when I am back in the office tomorrow)

I've been wanting to come up to Scotland for a Scotcon or meet for a while. Sadly May is not good for me at all, but I will always keep my options open.

I'll be a third of the way round the world from the 23rd of May onward (oo-er!) so sometime before then would be best for me, naturally.

I can't do either of those - friends birthday on the 9th and er, mine on the 16th.

Then no date suits everyone.
So, executive decision: May 9th!
We could always have another meet-up in July or something.

Weekends are out for me for the moment but I'm pretty sure I can pop through during the week to see folk at some point.

I am down like a clown for the Hub boys in town.
Ahem. I can make it any day. This time I will ensure that I don't have to shoot off after 2 hours.

I need channelling to be free of the Space Lurgy. Spent most of the last few days flat on my back.
In other news, I've just learned there is an Old Firm game on Saturday and there is an increased police presence due to expected trouble. It might be safer to jump the tube to the West End or summat. I'm not going anywhere near a city centre pub when there's an Old Firm game on.

I need channelling to be free of the Space Lurgy. Spent most of the last few days flat on my back. Anti-space lurgy channelling shall commence forthwith. Unfortunately I won't be able to avoid it entirely come the latter part of the day. Could make for an interesting journey home. I think it is going to be all about timing...... Karl

Given the circumstances - between urban unrest and illness, might we want to think about rescheduling for another weekend? Might ease the confluence of events that appears to be overtaking us.
Not sure how folks feel, just thought I might venture the possibility.

I shall have to renegotiate my work shifts as I am down for next Saturday, but if there's one thing to be said for TRU it's that they are flexible with their hours so it should be okay.
