Look at Armada Scavenger. What a Decepticon toy!!!
But, emm, no. He's an Autobot.
And there are lots more!
Look at the G2 planes. The Cons are such obvious Bots, and vice versa.
Any others you may have spotted?

Well, most of the Micromasters that were Decepticons over here were Autobots in Japan. And Crossblades (different colours) was a Decepticon in Japan.
Omega Supreme was the evil Omegatron in a former life.
Longtooth and Octopunch appear to have been swapped around, going by human/monster themes.
Why do the Insecticons have cockpits if they're not friends of the humans? (Controlled by humans in original Diaclone range.)
But I don't know what the question is really after. I mean, Roadbuster and Whirl look quite evil to me.

I mean, Roadbuster and Whirl look quite evil to me. Martin And ironically were the mecha of two of the lead human heroes in Dovrack...... I've never been entirely convinced that the Aerialbots and Stunticons were intended to be released on the "other" sides. Other than a piece of production art with an Autobot symbol on Menasaur there doesn't seem to be a lot of hard evidence. And I don't really know what stage of the design process that sketch comes from so it is hard to pin down. I'm hard pressed to think of any toys that were obviously meant to be released on different sides - although each of the Triggercons and Triggerbots have one member that has engineering typical of the cross-faction sub-set, but whether that is because they were switched from faction to faction or just because of the way the workload was split between designers I am not entirely sure. Karl I did once wonder if Dogfight and Windsweeper were originally to be Decepticon and Autobot respectively. Thus, all the Decepticons would have the ratcheting non-chrome weapons and the Autobots would have the chromed spring-loaded weapons.

That's what I mean in essence. Toys that just look like they should be on the other side. Longtooth / Stranglehold are two good ones.
And I thought the same about Dogfight and Windsweeper! Dogfight evens LOOKS eviller than Windsweeper!

I'm fairly convinced that Wheelie was originally meant to be evil...

Knockdown from the Minicons 12 pack looks more like he should be on the Cons side.
