Went to see a Queen tribute act at the Mallory Park racetrack yesterday. It started off a bit mediocre but as it went on it just got better and better. They all dressed the part (mainly costumes resembling Queen's 1986 tour) and although the lead singer didn't really sound like Freddie Mercury he did a fantastic job of acting like him. All in all it was a great evening out.

I've had a rather good day today. The weather was good this morning so I took my bicycle out along the canal for a couple f hours. It is nice to be able to cover a bit more ground and see more of the countryside than I otherwise would.
This afternoon it was raining, so after I had done a bit of cleaning and cooking I put my feet up and watched Kenneth Brannagh's film version of Henry V. I have even had a chance to sit down and read a bit of Michael Moorcock this afternoon as well.
Not a bad way to end a pretty horrible week.
