It's worth checking if Snowcat has a moving little panel on it's back with a minicon peg on it
All three should have missiles.
Might be interested in Snowcat and Demolishor.....

Ninja'd by Llama God whilst I was waffling! Well Llama Gods do move in mysterious and efficient ways... Actually they usually get distracted and faff around a lot. I am scared...

I like inferno, its the least ruined by the combiner gimmick of the autobot deluxes.
I still think it would had potential to be a better ironhide and ratchet than inferno and grapple though.

Yes, Snowcat does have that moving panel with the peg on it. As far as I can see those three are complete. I'm astonished Demolishor has all four missiles. What the intention is for these I don't know yet, there are 19 assorted Armada/Energon figures. If they're unwanted and I can move them on I'll let you know, but as I don't have these particular three in my own collection I'd probably nab them myself!

Nothing wrong with asking for help in IDing TFs, because it's all around great fun for all of us. But if ever you can't, or can't wait for a responce, www.tfu.info has an amazing "id your bot" resource, that has every toy in their catalogue organized by color and alt mode. It only gets a little squirrelly when you have to search through red trucks, or yellow cars.

Indeed. I'm now considering pulling random parts off minicons to see how fast they can be ID'd. Name that limb.

I think Towline, Inferno, and Mirage weathered the gimmick best. Downshift doesn't suffer from it, but I feel he's pretty neutral. Not terrible but not great. Hotshot did better than he's given credit for. Rodimus IMO fell completely flat.

Maybe your right. They aren't overly harmed by the superlink gimmick, but unlike Inferno they are both terrible terrible toys*.

AHHH!!! Late to the party thanks to my cursed nightshift last night, but yes indeed, Demolishor, Inferno and Snowcat, great figures I have owned in the past but reluctantly moved on.
There was a 'Graple' repaint wasn't there? Called Inferno Volt or something? Or have I imagined the entire thing.... again.....
Err, I suddenly feel nostalgia for Unicron Trillogy toys.... should I be concerned?....

There was a 'Graple' repaint wasn't there? Called Inferno Volt or something? Or have I imagined the entire thing.... again..... There is indeed a crane repaint of Inferno but for some reason is called Inferno Volt in Japan (Because Japan called Armada Smokescreen Grapple) and Roadblock in the west/ www.tfu.info/2005/Autobot/Roadblock/roadblock.htmIt's an orange remould of Inferno of course it's F***ING GRAPPLE! To further complicate matters in the Japanese cartoon Superlink this toy is Inferno rebuilt tfwiki.net/wiki/Inferno_%28Energon%29In Energon, the western dub, he's a new character! tfwiki.net/wiki/Roadblock_%28Energon%29

This picture showed up in my FB memories. It was taken somewhere c2000-2002 At the top towards the left is a yellow toy. It's probably got wheels and is upside down. Probability suggests a Transformer or similar Anyone able to work out what it is?

Hello All,
Hope you're all having a decent Sunday evening.
I'm a new member today and I'm just here looking for a bit of advice, please.
I've been having a clearout and came across a Transformers Megatron P38 gun toy which I would guess is from the mid to late 80's. I worked at Hasbro UK in 90/91 as a student and was given it as a leaving present, although I had forgotten about it until I found it this weekend. I remember being very impressed by the complex engineering on the Transformers toys so maybe that's why I chose it. I worked on Play-Doh and Sindy products which were not as exciting!
I had a look on ebay today and to my surprise it seems like they go for pretty serious money - if it's what it looks like of course.
Mine is probably a packaging sample - it has a 'Sample' sticker on the back that refers to what I think was the French distributor from what I remember. The box is in pretty good nick but certainly not perfect, but all the parts and stuff are there in the box.
So what I'm looking for is someone I can ask to identify it so I can decide what to do with it.
I'm used to engineering forums so apologies if I've got the wrong board or put the question in the wrong way.
Any suggestions appreciated, thanks.
Alex

Yes sorry - it's on the back, photo attahced. Obscures the artwork so I guess that's not a good thing.

I'm not so sure. To the right people something with a Hasbro sample sticker would tick a box. Unfortunately you're unlikely to be able to go flogging it on eBay - gun replicas are frowned on there. I've summoned Bogatan and kayevcee from the ToyFu team who might have some advice on how and how much or possibly even relieve you of it.....

Thanks, I hadn't thought about that aspect of putting it on ebay.
Let's see what those guys can suggest.
Thank you.

Ooh, a Ceji sample no less! I know a couple of serious collectors who might be interested in this. Are you on Twitter by any chance? I'll be contacting them through there.

Thanks for the reply. No sorry, not on twitter. Email? Bit oldskool I'm afraid.
Having said that I guess it's not really biggie to set up a twitter account if it helps though. Let me know.
Thanks again.
