Live action kids shows were rarely a favourite for young Ralph due to his dislike of shows with child stars.

I weren't too fond of them either but there were a few that I watched. I think the only live action kids shows that I really enjoyed were two ones made in the 90's called Mike and Angelo (only the first two or three series though because it got unwatchable after that) and Harry's Mad. In the 80's I think the various T-Bag shows were the only live action shows I ever watched.

I used to love it when I was a kid but I watched a few episodes about a year ago and I just can't find any interest in it. I guess it was one of those shows that you could only enjoy as a kid.

I haven't seen it in yeeeeeeeears. I do remember always being amused by the different places his chief used to hide.

Here's one of my old faves.

It needs to be brought back but only in its original format. The last few series of Knightmare were terrible if I recall.

I often went hoarse shouting at the idiot kids on the screen. No, turn right! Turn right!

I did too!
Anyway, my selection for today comes from a show that ran in the early 80's and was an unmissable weekday dinnertime show for me as a youngster before it was replaced by Allsorts. I'm speaking of a show called Let's Pretend and, although no intro of the show exists on Youtube the theme tune does!

I'm seriously running out of shows beginning with K & L. The only one I can think of at the moment is Look & Read but I've already mentioned that series separately amongst other letters so I won't go into that here. Anybody have any suggestions?

In the late 80's there was a factual show on Childrens BBC called The Lowdown. I remember the opening credits for the show but I can't find them on Youtube. Wikipedia isn't much help either as they only have a very brief write-up of the show. Can anybody else remember this show?

I've now completely exhausted my supply of kids shows beginning with K and L but I did find this. This is a show that isn't strictly an 80's show but its final series (of three) was broadcast in 1980. www.youtube.com/watch?v=GxXSUyc3BAU

Don't forget the toughest man in the world had his own awful cartoon.
I have a video with two episodes of this somewhere.

I'm seriously starting to struggle with these last few letters... There are a number of websites that list kids TV shows of the 80's. Retrojunk.com is a good source and so is Wikipedia. The former however largely deals in American shows but a few British shows have crept into their lists.
