We are due 40-50mph wind this evening. Therefore I will hide in the cinema. Already quite blustery out there.

The weather was worst on Monday.
Snowing in Castleford at just after 8:00 then sunshine then heavy winds snow showers. Got to Pontefract in heavy rain & had to walk in 2 inch of slush. Then all sunny in the afternoon.

Good grief... It is wet in Glasgow and surrounding area. I think it has now been raining for two weeks as far as I can tell, and it seems to have driven everyone into their cars instead of public transport. With the end result that my journey in this morning took fifteen minutes longer than it normally would have. I have sort refuge and a cup of coffee before heading across the road to the Andersonian Library, where I suspect I will spend the better part of the morning, until I venture back out into the weather to go to Livingston Tower for the afternoon.

Glasgow is indeed very wet and has been for what feels like an eternity now. Looking forward to escaping it for a few days next week.

Unable to hit my daily minimum walking steps/time today due to Time Wars. An excursion 15 down the road to pick up supplies from Sainsburgeries this morning co-incided with a weather apocalypse which soaked me down to the underwear, putting me out of action for the day as my winter shoes and coat are utterly sodden! Had to wing out my coat!

Yesterday was rain, snow, rain, snow and then rain.
Thanks to the heavy rainfall none of the snow stayed long.

I've got my usual blue winter jacket out of action after the hail on Saturday seemed to pass straight through it. I looked it over afterwards because I half expected to see it hanging in shredded strips. It is still drying off. Fortunately I had not thrown out my old, black winter coat and it was sitting in the wardrobe in the back bedroom allowing me to break that out and out it back into use in the interim. (I had also worn my "interview shoes" with their leather uppers on Saturday rather than my "shower resistant" Elastene ones (which are shower resistant to the weather up here in the same way a Battletech Wasp's armour is large Autocannon resistant... I.e not going to protect you unless you run away from it very, very quickly)

It's been shocking here. Wind and rain. Terrible. Relentless. I'm genuinely concerned that, you know, big robots are time-traveling and cause rifts in spacetime 'n' that.
