Next weekends episode is promising. Newtralizer returns! (voiced by guest star Danny Trejo). Rumour has it, Slash (Corey Feldman) is also going to be back, and they'll be teaming up.

I forgot about the last episode and missed it. >_< With my luck, this will be the one time they don't reair something three thousand times.

Another superb episode this weekend. Another new one to follow next weekend, featuring a homage of sorts to a classic 90s toy-only villain.

Pizza Face? I'd heard he was upcoming, but I think the character has been drastically altered for this... More like Pizza The Hut than that old Chef-Mutant-Thing.

Namesake, I believe. Probably another of Mikey's nicknames too. Quite liked the original figure.
I think Pizza-Face is also the episode title.

This guide is great!
I had a few of these and the Sewer Heroes series. There was a villains series after that but harder to find and unsure if they surfaced in the UK/

I know the ones you mean, "sewer series 2" or something... EDIT: Sewer Heroes 2, also labelled as "Bad Guys Series".
I could find no record of a UK release and I know I myself have only seen them as NTSC "Ninja" tapes.

Today's episode ("The wrath of the tiger") is one of the best ever. Nice call out to an archie comics only character, too!

Enjoyable mutant-heavy episode this week, and a nod to.... Bebop & Rocksteady!

Is there any known reason for why Seth Green is replacing Jason Biggs?
Okay ignore that. After just watching Sunday's episode I was wondering why Leo's voice sounded off as it wasn't Biggs voicing him, but some guy called Dominic Catrambone. I guess it could be down to scheduling conflicts if Biggs is now in a full time live action tv series.
I am glad I didn't read Hero's spoiler above, as I loved the surprise.

Apparently, it had something to do with Jason Biggs conduct on Twitter. I remember he could not make one or two recording sessions due to his wife giving birth and had to have a stand in around then.
Had no problem with Biggs voice as Leo. I hope Seth Green can also do a good job.

Newest episode- Vengeance is Mine I knew Karai was eventually going to be mutated, but I have to say I'm disappointed. I thought for sure she would become Ninjara. And i also wish they did this an episode or several later on. I would have liked to see the change in dynamics with her added to the group.

Picked up the cheap Best of Turtles DVD's today.
Burns and I watched The Dark Night of the Turtle and Raphael Vs the Volcano at random. First was ho-hum. Second was absolutely awful.

Not familiar with those episodes myself, but I did see eyebrows raised at some of the episodes picked for these "best" discs.

A heads up if you have Netflix. The long-awaited Turtle Power Documentary is now available (if you load up the Canadian version).
Lots of good stuff here: old camcorder footage of the Mirage crew, unused toy designs, a glimpse at a deleted scene from the first movie. Strangely a lot of things do not get a mention at all including the fourth film, the new film, the 2003 show or the current one, no Image or IDW... OK with a 98min runtime not everything can be covered but there's a section on that Coming out of their Shells tour. Really.
Still, it's worth a watch. There's a DVD release (Region 1) 12th August.

I remember Raphael VS The Volcano. Season 5 I think.
Glad to see the documentary come to fruition.

Is there any news regarding the air dates for the rest of season 2, or are we only getting the 22 episodes instead of the usual 26 this time around?

Dont think it's over yet. Nick here usually makes a big deal over season finales. But last season was dragged out so long it buffered against season 2, and i sorta anticipate the same here.

I just don't see any further episodes listed anywhere, so I wasn't sure if we were due any more prior to season 3 starting.

I don't know. Nick is being incredibly weird. Korra started two weeks ago and they're literally already halfway through the 13 episode season. AND THEY SKIPPED LAST FRIDAY.
Sam & Cat is being advertised as it's last episode coming this thursday, and they've both stated that it will be renewed, won't be renewed, and are uncommitted to a decision at this time. So they've literally taken a stand on all three possibilities.
Who the hell knows? I do know they play TMNT by itself, apart from other similar shows (korra, kung fu panda, and power rangers. Which are all also isolated from each other). It's like they're dedicated to making sure everything fails. But why should they care? It's not fucking Spongebob or Odd Parents.
