There are four more episodes left in the season.
Also side note looking this up, I did not realize Roseanna Barr is Mother Kraang.

Is there any news regarding the air dates for the rest of season 2, or are we only getting the 22 episodes instead of the usual 26 this time around? Apparently, the remaining 4 are due to air in August to go along with the movie release. Won't be surprised if Sam & Cat is cancelled sooner than later. Sanjay & Craig is far more deserving of the axe though .

Tonight's the final episode of Sam &Cat.
And agree on Sanjay and Craig. But even worse than that is Breadwinners.

Ah August, when the USA gets the movie two and a half months before we do. Great way to encourage piracy.

I couldn't understand why... Until I saw the unfortunate release date combined with the image. Yikes.

Even bloody Australia get the movie more than a month before we get it in the UK.

Ninja Turtles was enjoyable.
Remember how all the horror stories you heard about TF you hoped were overblown or false, then when you saw the movie, they were absolutely true?
Well here it's false, or over blown. They did a fairly good job of mixing in elements from every era.
But it's also nessesary to remember that this is an action movie for kids. The plot is very simple, the characters development isn't very deep, and the whole movie is really light hearted.

Uhm... why are we waiting so long for this again?

No sane person knows.
Plus there is still nothing I have come across showing when the last 4 episodes of the season 2 are due to air.

The 4 remaining episodes are scheduled to air 'sometime' in September.
Oct 17th term time instead of Summer hols release makes no sense for the film.

As horrifically anal as they are about censoring tmnt over there, maybe they wanted to make sure there was ample time to butcher the movie into "Hero" Turtles?

September 26th weekend is when the remaining s2 episodes will air. They also a couple of 2-parters, so they may be shown back to back or merged together.

I actually have read nothing but negativity about this film anywhere, so yeah. A definite skip in protest.

Managed to watch the newest episode on Nick.com a week early. Without giving away spoilers, I think it the episode itself is a cult movie love letter that will please almost everybody.

I've not seen (or been particularly inclined to watch) any episodes since the first few went up on nick.com, but I gave that one a viewing and found it highly enjoyable. Still find young April (and now others I see) a bit odd, but this is only the fourth (I think) episode I've watched.

You'll get over it, because it works. It's no different than the reimaginings any other character gets from one adaptation to the next. There are actually very little changes in this series that don't work.

April looks more like a Ben 10 character. Many argue the case that her version makes more sense than a 30-something hanging out with a group of teens.
I really like what the current show has done and continues to do.

So what did we make of the Season 2 finale? As mentioned I've not really been watching the show, but I had some free time and the episode was there so I gave it a watch. Didn't know who a bunch of characters were but I enjoyed it. The Nickelodeon version of the events from "What Goes Around Comes Around!/Silent Partner" was well done but I enjoyed the new stuff more.
Having seen Karai for the first time (although I think she was mentioned in the last episode I watched), I have a few questions. What's her relationship with everyone? Is she still with the Foot Clan in the nick show? Has she always been a mutant? Is she older like in the comic, or younger like in the 2k3 show?

The full story of Kurai up to this point is pretty much this: Kurai is Splinter's daughter. He kidnapped her as an infant after killing her mother, and nearly killing Yoshi. He then raised her as his own, and brought her up to be a high ranking Foot ninja. When she met the turtles, she had none of Shredder's hatred for them, or Yoshi. Leo developed a crush on her, and Kurai wasn't above forming a friendship with them.
When she learned of the Kraang invasion, she wanted to help, and tried to make a deal with her father to form an alliance with them. When he refused, she offered to steal weapons from him for them to use against the kraang. But, at the last minute, the turtles decided to use the missile launcher against shredder, which turned her against them.
In the season one finale, shredder tells splinter that kurai is splinter's. That he stole her from him. And from there on, he sets Kurai against the turtles with a vengeance. When Shredder brings in Tiger Claw, she starts to feel that Tiger doesn't fight with enough honor. Leo manages to finally convince her that she is splinter's daughter. And she turns on the foot. When she does, shredder locks her away. The turtles manage to free her, but she gets mutated into the snake thing she is in the finale.
Ultra condensed version. I know it never happened, but i love the idea of Shredder doing all the dad things (in full costume). Like attending dance recitals, and stuff.

Episode 2 of season 3 was a weird one, but it did have Jesse "The Body" Ventura.

Jesse Ventura?
Season 3 so far has been a love letter to horror movies.
Update: Just checked the credits. That was indeed Jesse Ventura as the guest star voice.

I recognised the voice instantly. I was more stunned as I was surprised that he would ever voice a cartoon character, but as he did The Finger has the most manly voice ever in the history of cartoons.

Next episode 'The Croaking' scheduled for November 7th.

Caught the Battle For New York 2-parter early, thanks to Nick USA.
Very impressed. Without too much detail - comic fans might be happy with this one.
