Yeah, looking at those pages gives me exactly the same vibe now as it did back then. Bill Bailey wasn't wrong when he described the Argos catalogue as the laminated book of dreams. Look at all the robo machines stuff in the 85 one.
If you look at the Transformers stuff in the 84-86 ones you can see the popularity explosion.
Gosh that's a rush.
