safely installed in Kingston as of yesterday. Already we've given someone the wrong present and had a bad night with the boy which resulted in him sleeping in Daddy's bed.

Just home from work (an hour ago- this post began before dinner). Utterly knackered. People were still phoning at ten to six asking what time we closed at. Folks, if you haven't managed to pick something up for your kid over the past three months and are leaving it till SIX HOURS before time, maybe toys are the least of your worries.
Dad has put the tree and crib up, and hung a few bits and bobs from the ceiling that brightens the place up enormously. I'm sorry I wasn't there to help, but the place looks grand. I'm going to wrap a few presents then drag my carcass off to bed. Mass in the morning, then a blissful two days off.
Then returns season starts at TRU, but I'll worry about that when I get there.

I'm liking how there's no trains tomorrow*. First Rail, you morons. People do need to travel on Boxing Day, you know. I look forward to arseing about with buses.

I'm heading back up to Edinburger on Sunday from right down south and given engineering works, the weather and the time of year and more thankful than ever that I bought myself a train ticket with lots of flexibility built into it. Will head back a few hours earlier than planned and hopefully make it back early enough in the evening to enjoy some Christmas presents in the DVD player along with some home made fudge a friend bought me.

I am now back in Edinburger. Er, what to do really. I'd rather be at work, to be honest. Got some bad news at Chrimbo, so I've pretty much lost all interest in the holiday period.

We had heavy rain last night battering off the windows. It is now alternating between snow and sleet. I wait for an appropriate window in the weather so I can jump down the coffee shop.
Finally got around to registering for libraries. I look forward to getting my library card in the post. Been too long since I read a proper novel.

I haven't bothered with libraries for several years. Before I was connected to the net I used to nip into a library nearby to go on their computers but you'll have to go back about another three years prior to that when I last took a book out. An interesting fact though is fact it was the aforementioned library actually got me into reading the Marvel TF comics. Beforehand I was only interested in the cartoon but then I picked up one of the Titan TPB's from the library, read it, took it back and got out another one and so on and so on until I had read every Marvel US and UK issue that had been printed in the TPB's.

I haven't bothered with libraries for a while as they were pretty useless, but I have noticed the local libraries near to where I have moved seem good and I've heard nothing but good reports of Edinburger's library services so keen to give it a go again.

I just ate a whole chocolate gingerbread man. I only meant to eat his feet but before I knew it I had gobbled him up completely. And before dinner too.
Eating habits have gone to pot of late. Weight gain...here we come!

I had a go on my brothers Wii Fit game last night and was told by the computer that I was obese! Just to hammer the message home it even adjusted the stomach of my Mii character to emphasise that!

The machines rise up against us!
Soon I shall put some roast potatoes and fish in the oven and thereafter eat them while watching the RSC/BBC production of Hamlet on the iPlayer.
