Agreed. The first two were a different class to the recent ones in 2000ad. I'm sure the Megazine printed them years ago, which is what prompted me to buy the hardback versions. I like their original WotW adaptation too.

Today I read 'Animal Farm'. To Stalin it does much harm. All should read this relevant tale, Come what may!

So, I finished reading the book Alien: Covenant the other day And I find myself in a quandary, you might say. I'm of a mind to read the book of the prequel For understanding these characters, a book has no equal But it seems Prometheus is bereft of novel And that makes me sad, like my library is a hovel.
Can any chums shine a light on my lack of Alien novel plight?

There is a prequel novel to 'Alien: Covenant', Have I read it yet? I can't! It is lurking on my shelf. Yet if I read it I might get a skelf!

A prequel novel that isn't Prometheus? Now they do try to confuse us.
I can't see 'Covenant's pre-story being very interesting But who knows, maybe it'll really ping!

Well, that's confusing and no mistake Who knew the twist this tale would take
An Alien book set before the Alien Whoever thought this a good idea must be a-wailin'
Does anyone care about a Covenant conspiracy? They make no mention of this in the film, not even airily
I'm amazed this even exists Let alone on 'must-read' lists

Just finished Sherlock Holmes and the Servants from Hell by Paul Kane. It's a crossover between Sherlock after the great hiatus and various characters from The Hellbound Heart/Hellraiser mythos.
Enjoyable brisk romp, the writer has Watson down to a tee.
Won't be to everyone's taste but as these Holmes pastiches go, it's definitely one of the better ones.

50 pages from the end of the prequel novel for 'Alien: Covenant'. No aliens have appeared yet. But...board meetings! Corporate intrigue! Ninjas! International conspiracy! Will the spaceship Covenant load all of its cargo in time before launch???
I just want an alien to turn up.

It appears to have been too obscure for the library to get it in. The movie novel? £2 online. The prequel? Still full price!!!
20 pages to go. Come on. Put a fucking alien in it. A wanky 'flash forward' will do.

EPILOGUE:
Back on Earth, Mr Yutani convened a board meeting to discuss the new Alien threat little realising the conspiracy cult group had just reformed to have a new and even more deadly board meeting of their own.

After finishing reading the works of Lee Child (to date), I have moved on to John Grisham. And returned to make a final push to finish Phil's Defenders collections, of which I have read three issues this afternoon.

I am aware DVD's exist of the colour 70's episode but I don't think any 60's Blessed ones do. I'm not sure if any of them exist at all! I am sure I have seen clips but maybe I am mixed up with something else?

Looks like there were 170 eps in the first five seasons and Wikipedia says Blessed was in 113 of them. There are 69 missing from those seasons, so a good amount of Blessed eps must exist.
