Picked up a Krazy Kat & Ignatz collection on Ebay and it arrived earlier this week. Enjoying it a few pages at a time. Annoyed, I haven't picked it up before, flights of fancy, puns, running gags - all my absolute wheelhouse. Binge-reading the new Jack Reacher novel, 'The Sentinel', written during lockdown. Got it last Saturday, and just got 30 pages to go.
Jack Reacher is helping the FBI fight Nazis and Russians who are holding a town's computer records for ransom, as cover for efforts to undermine the integrity of US elections. A lot of bad guys are getting badly beaten.

Polished off the latest Jack Reacher, 'Better Off Dead', in a single bank holiday weekend. Much of it while sitting in my local pub and my local Caffe Nero, where there are no computer or TV distractions.

I can imagine restaurants generally wouldn't put it out - it's a trade mag, not really intended for restaurant goers. There's nothing really of interest in it unless you run a restaurant. Reminded me a lot of MCV, the games industry trade mag I still get sent despite my repeated attempts to tell the publishers I do not work in games any more and haven't for about a hundred years.
