This lunch time we all had Horse's Willy and Chips from the chippy in Greenmeadow. The head suddenly felt OK to do it. EXCELLENT! Though I am concerned that Lockdown has made you go feral if you are now eating Horse's Willies. -Ralph They're called 'huge suspicious looking sausages' down our way.

Half way home, I was hailed by a waiter from my local Indian, which I was just passing, and which was just opening. Asked me how I was. Asked me how my dad was. By that point, I knew I was getting a takeaway for dinner tonight. Gave me a 15% discount.
Enjoyed a large Cobra in the waiting area while they got me my lamb tikka biryani. It took longer than it should have done, apparently, due to some accident in the kitchen, so they've given me four poppadoms instead of the two I paid for.
Satisfied customer.

I would like to make a complaint to our Asda Out of Date Food correspondent concerning our chocolate Yule Log. The clue is in the name, Yule as in to be eaten at Christmas. It turns out it was dated December 9th!!!!! We followed Bogatan's example and tucked in anyway!

Nice lunch from Subway. My usual, warm foot-long Spicy Italian on Italian herbs & cheese bread, all the salad including jalapenos, no dressing. Lovely. Meal deal with Quavers and Pepsi Max.

Healthy eating has went out the window due to being gifted many, many festive chocolates and the like. Back on the diet after this weekend.
Still enjoying running though wobbly health of late has unwillingly cut my frequency a bit. Planning to extend my distance a bit in January.

Fish'n'chips tonight.
And in other news, Sainsbury's are selling Birds brandy sauce normally retailing at £1.15 for 12p each. It said 32p on the shelf but they are 12p each on my receipt. The Use By date is November 2022, and they're practically giving it away. Am I the only person who likes it on puddings at any time of the year and not just Christmas??? PANIC BUY.

Grabbed Indian takeaway on way home from office after a busy week. First time in a few months. Large Cobra while I waited, as always, whilst perusing a 3-day-old newspaper in the waiting area.
