In the US you can get "Netjet" games on USB key drives, and Hasbro has produced several TF ones. They're one-on-one fighting games featuring characters from all over the TF spectrum. One of the newer ones contains Animated Megatron in his Earth form. Behold: The ThreadThe picIn other news, the backdrops are awesome. -Nick

Hmm, the animated Meg's looks... odd. Like a helicopter but using the same rotor arrangement as a tilt-rotor. Mind you, I suspect that the game model has made some compromises with the actual design so I shall withold judgement until we see better imagery (and I can fathom what sort of craft he is meant to be).

What? * checks TF news sites* Well, I didn't see that coming. I expected them to release it in February/March to kill the launch of the new Power Rangers line, since TF has overtaken it in sales for the first time in ten years. Maybe Hasbro aren't that spiteful? Also, the new Power Rangers series started showing about September, so perhaps a six month gap between the series beginning and the toys launching is actually sound business? Who can tell. -Nick

Haven't there been Movie toys slated into next year? If they're going to continue that line for a while, then it doesn't surprise me the Animated toys have been pushed back - they don't usually overlap the main lines.
