Got today off work so I'll be on a Nintendo 64 bender throughout the day playing various games on the console and reliving the days when I had to be crowbarred off the machine!

Looks like I'll be going to Auto Assembly this year. I went out and played a game of bingo tonight and won £100 which will easily cover the weekend ticket and the travel fare up to the land of Brum. All I'll need then is to find the cash for the hotel and also spending money for the convention which shouldn't be too hard.

Received a message today from the wife of the band I see asking for me to take the videos I recorded of the band off Youtube. Apparently, they think that the picture quality is great but the sound doesn't show them at their best. I actually thought it was the other way around because of how dark the room was and because my camcorder only had a rubbish light very little decent picture quality was picked up.
I am actually disappointed by this because it took me over an hour last Sunday to upload those videos to Youtube and now I'm asked to take them down and return my Youtube account to that of 'Johnny No-videos'!

The wife of the lead singer I should have said in my previous post not 'wife of the band' which makes the person sound like an obsessed roadie! Nobody had recorded a full gig of theirs before so I thought it would be a good idea but now, after I had recorded one and put it up on Youtube they say that they were going to hire a professional to do the job for them at the next gig and they want mine removing. Although I haven't taken the videos down yet I am actually unwilling to do so because it took me about two hours to edit them for Youtube (I hadn't used Windows Movie Maker before so getting used to it formed part of this length of time) and then another hour to upload them onto Youtube. I didn't waste that length of time last Sunday so that they could be taken down again seven days later.

You've got a point there Ralph but I haven't heard anything else on the matter since so I think I'll leave the videos up until I can next get to speak to the band members themselves. If they actually want the videos taken down then I'll take them down.
