My local Asda must have found a few boxes of large lego sets in the back as Kylo Rens Spaceship set and a few other sets appeared a few days ago with varying degrees of reduction. Got myself an Imperial Shuttle Tydirium for about £43 after some discounts. Aside from adding another OT vessel to my collection it gives me a set of endor rebels which Ive wanted for a while.

Wasn't going to get the SW Lego mag, but got tempted by the fact that this month is a bumper issue with a Snowspeeder and the aforementioned Tie Bomber.
Pretty sure it's the same Snowspeeder as was in Issue 6?

I have seen it in Toys Galore, Wonderland Models, TRU and Smyths. It isn't meant to be out until August so some stores have been naughty.

Pretty sure it's the same Snowspeeder as was in Issue 6? Damn, finally opened this up. Turns out they had 4 previous small cover sets available separately and it was on the cover sleeve which you were getting. Means I missed outvon the diddy Star Destroyer and Tie Fighter from last year. In other Lego news, my parents took my old Lego for my Niece and Nephew's house. Some good memories coming back. I even found 3 minifigs I'd painted to look like TMNT Raphael, Donatello and Shredder. There are also the instructions for some sets

O-oh it's pretty much identical to the previous version. That's a bit pointless and a waste really isn't it!! Why bother?

Updated Minifigs looks the main reason

I imagine it's just to keep it in production. Few Lego sets are on sale for 7+ years so perhaps there was an internal reason why it had to be re-released so only small changes were made rather than designing an all-new model.

Found a Nequik Bunny minifigure this morning. It has a slightly disturbing minifigure head under the bunny head.

The Doctor Who set is now shown as 'retiring soon' so it is nearing the end of its retail life if anyone is still after it.

Seen it down to £35 which is reasonable considering the £50 RRP and piece-count.

First Order General polybag free when you spend over £15 on SW Lego at TRU.
Was just the excuse I needed to crack on the Carbon Freeze Chamber. And as that was a pound or so under RRP I'll consider myself to have done OK.
Said set has been removed from me to be my Christmas Day Lego set :-)
