Doubtful, its a premium line tied into a film franchise sadly....I hate the dear prices of Lego nowadays! I like that pic Hero, I note three of those figures are comprised of Click Brick Swop Em's - good stuff they are too. Got loads myself. Haven't seen any Alien Conquest in Reading yet The Hazmat Guy's perfect for the range but also reminds me of the new Schweppes Tonic ad thats very funny....could do a stop motion Lego version.....

Two of the figures are from Click Bricks . The roadsweeper guy in the background is from the 2009 Lego Christmas Calendar. The Fire Cheif also has the head from the series 2 Mexican. Click Bricks are indeed fun. ===KEN

I bought a small set of Alien Conquest the other day and thought I got a lot for my £3.99. I hope the PoC legos plummets in price eventually... ===KEN Alas, it's doubtful. I rarely see franchise-tie-in LEGO drop in price, which is why I don't have much of the Star Wars stuff! -Ralph

Star Wars Lego is cool! If you shop around the net you can find stuff cheaper. Which is what I did, or John Lewis.
The other night bitten by Hero's mention of said Steam Roller I bought one, a Police Quad Bike, Doctors Car, Firemans Car and Small Tractor, all small bagged sets for £1.99 each but the Roller was a bit more with 50p postage, all the others were FREE POSTAGE!!! Love small sets like these, reminds me of when I were little and sets like these where treats from Mum and Dad.

The Sun is doing free Lego this week.
Today's free figure was a really cool looking Skeleton-copter from Ninjago. Tomorrow's freebie is also Ninjago, Friday's is a car and minifig from Pharaoh's Tomb, Saturday is an Endor walker from Star Wars ROTJ and Sunday is a Biplace with fig.
Alas, I bought two copies of The Sun (threw the rest away of course) but my TRU ran out of figures. In the end I had to call a number and jot down an address to send the coupon off to.
I'm not around Friday-Sunday as I will be at Centre Parcs, but if anyone is up for saving me the coupons or collecting the figures in my name I'd be greatful.

I've been collecting them so I can grab extra for you if you'd like. The Capt Jack on Sunday was really good, Haven't gotten around to the ninjas yet.

I pointed out the promotion before it started, with a link to the Sun's webpage. See about six posts up. I missed yesterday's. I didn't bother going into town because it was raining, but still bought the paper in the hope/expectation that I'd be able to pick it up with today's but they'd run out. Ah well, I don't care for Ninjago anyway (but still, 30p for a Mini-figure and set). It's nice to see that they've "extended" the offer (yeah, right, I'm sure they just happened to decide to do that and it wasn't planned all along) - that AT-ST looks nifty.

If you can't get to TRU or WH Smith or either have run out, you can ring 0207 8601129.
The number will basically tell you to write to
Lego Promotion Customer Services 3 Thomas Moore Square London E98 1RL
They request that you include your filled in coupon, name and address as well as the store location you go to. Also you have to write which day from the promotion on the outside of the envelope. Allow for 28 Days delivery.

No P+P at all. The automated message did not mention it.
Incidentally, I wont be able to grab tomorrows Sun either.
I like Alien Conquest too. Makes me glad I army-built the aliens from minifigs series 3.

I don't understand people. Last weekend I bought a bunch of lego from a car boot sale. I bought a boxed Star Wars Slave 1 set and once I got it home I found it had non of the minifigures which is all I really bought it for, not a big deal I would have kept the figures and sold the ship now I'll just sell the ship. Then I bought a large bag on assorted lego and when I went through it there were various minifigures, but non of them had heads, well there was a Jar Jar head but about a dozen bodies and one head. How do you loose or why do you keep all those heads?
It make no sense to me.

Whoever owned them was definitely into stripping them because the arms had been pulled off half of them and all the hands were off too, but the hands were all there, in fact there were probably more pairs of hands than figures, I don't think its about loosing them. I'm almost certain the heads have been kept on purpose.
Maybe he made a totem pole.

I figured the arms would pop off. The Click Bricks KO moulds have to have the arms popped in and the legs too.

Lego in the 1980's used to pack the figures like that too, you had to pop all the parts together, I remember doing that with my then brand new black 'convertable' car with a figure that had a Cowboy style hat - a really popular set amongst Lego Collectors!

My Star Wars Endor walker thing from The Sun newspaper offer arrived in the post.
I have to say, Star Wars Lego is impressively designed. It was a real joy to assemble this morning.

That new Echo Base does indeed urinate casually upon last year's Wampa Cave from a great height. Much better. The Echo Base from a couple of years back wasn't bad (although looking at it now it was a bit sparse), and I suspect this new one will be a lot more expensive. Speaking of which, the new Slave-1 that's a ridiculous £79.99 on UK shelves was in Target and Wal-mart over here- for $79.99. Taking a leaf out of the Hasbro playbook, are we Lego? It looked like the non-branded stuff was about par with UK prices though, so it may have been reduced. Having now bought and constructed it, I'm not sure if it was even worth the 50 quid. The ship looks good and it's got a lot of features (the fold-out missiles are particularly nifty) but it seems awful small for the money and only comes with three chaps. Still, it's nice to have a Boba Fett and a Trandoshan- shame the latter couldn't come with a custom gun. -Nick
