Three Advent Calendar minifigures have been redeployed onto recent builds. The Bespin Security Guard, and the Planets Cloud Car Lobot, are on the Carbon Freeze set, while the Hoth Rebel & Snowtrooper have gone onto the Hoth turret set which I got cheap. Doesn't feel a £20 set but the knob on the side to remotely turn the turret is fun.
The Advent calendar is sort of boosted by knowing it has supplemented existing sets that people are likely top own/get for Christmas.

Lots of clearance LEGO in Sainsburgeries today. I was very tempted by the £13.33 Hoth set but Creator 31044 (the dog, duck and ducklings) was FINALLY on sale having never seen it discounted before and I had coveted it! There was only one left of the Creator set so I nabbed it. Wrong side of payday to have been able to get the Hoth set too.

The expression for the Tony figure is amazing as he looks utterly pished on booze. The expression on Thanos is a bit, er, suggestive of him wanting to do something. Much comedy can thus ensue with both figures.
In hand, using the shorter legs for these figures works fine. They're clearly comedy versions of the characters.

Nice little figure and also means that between this and the Star Wars Rebels annual half the main cast have been available for only £8 or less in the last couple of months. For another £6-9 you could also get Hera. Seems very unusual, but Im not complaining. Also got Kiss Batman today turns out the packs are only £2.50 at Asda, still too much but better than the £3 at Tesco. |

Chums, I have something grave to report. I HAVE COMPLETELY LOST MY PACKET FEELING POWERS. Of ten packets purchased so far from the Batman movie wave, a shocking THREE of them have been DOUBLERS that I DID NOT ANTICIPATE. EVEN WORSE, this evening's purchases of 4 packets contained two doublers within the same buying event horizon (2 Robins, 2 Batman in pink skirt). I HAVE LOST ALL MY POWER IN LIFE. -Ralph |
