The AT-ST on the new SW Lego magazine is quite nice, lots of play value along the lines of the recent Dwarf Spider Droid - 360 degrees turn, moving guns, fairly posable legs (though naturally it can't stand in most poses but the most basic), and a couple of pieces I've not seen before.
Next issue is another go at the Probe Droid - at first glance identical to the one from about two years ago, but this time with a pile of snow and a clear pole to act as a stand.

Been in two B&M stores now where the new Lego end aisle displays have been replaced with 5-6m of aisle space. Mainly seems to be City and Creative/Creator sets 'expiring' at the end of their 2 year shelf life wih ~10% off RRP.

Things like the Lego Pizza Van that can no longer be found elsewhere...
Also spotted the Lego store 'exclusive' NASA Women set in a Smyths. Over production perhaps? Or just not selling anymore so being offloaded? A staff worker in a Lego Store told me recently they haven't sold any for weeks.

Other shops can order them if they want them. John Lewis, Smyths, Toys Galore, etc have got in many of them over the years. -Ralph

Popped into the Glasgow Lego store. Saw the fab 'xtra' polybags 40310, 40311, 40309, 40313. Lego have been very clever about the contents here as there is enough of each theme to justify the contents of a bag but enough crossappeal to make picking them up worthwhile. I can see myself picking up multiple extra bags next time I am through. Ralph needs more roast chickens, trees, umbrellas, traffic lights, etc.
Impulse buy on Pencil Pot 40188 as the minifig looks like a certain Chris McFeely who many fans may know from his 'Transformers: The Basics' videos on youtube and other fan related efforts. It also looks like a really fun novelty build.
I may need the ship in the bottle now I have seen it built up. Perhaps next time...

Watched the Lego episode of 'The Toys who Made Us'. Awful. Full of errors and the undercurrent of casual racism that seems to permeate the series. Also: no video about Lego should be a 15-rated production. I've tried to give the full series a fair try but I won't be back for a future run methinks.

Digging around in the pile by the bed...
Jurassic World 1's off sale date was yesterday: in the mag it says next issue 8th August. So I can see why I wrote that down for today, though it really should have had a question mark and the other date.
City 6's off sale date was 15th May: in the mag next issue date is 12th September.
Can't find the last Batman to check! So that might be today. Harley Quinn minifig iirc

Excellent I need a few of those characters. And an invisibility cloaks as it was the only thing missing from my hogwarts castle set.
Not sure how I feel about the short legs on the kids, especially on cho who appears to then have a skirt wrapped around them.
