Space Police was the best space lego theme.
But nothing beats the moon base plate. Nothing.

M-Tron is the greatest Lego ever.
Space Police and Blacktron are close behind though.

Ive never twigged that Futron and classic space were different lines. I think I had the Lunar Explorer and maybe one or two of the very small sets though they could also be from the later classic space sets.
Thanks to carbooting I know I own (I may have sold some of them) Robot Command Center Solar Power Transporter
I think Xenon X Craft FX Star Patroller Galaxy Explorer
And at least 2 of the moon bases I think Beta 1 Command and or Intergalactic Command Base.
And maybe an incomplete Galaxy Commander
and lots of small sets
Basically if anyone saw Nicks recent Lego Haul, think that but all 80s lego Space and trains. I gave up trying to sort it.

Ive never twigged that Futron and classic space were different lines. I'm not even sure the distinction is one made by Lego themselves! I have a number of catalogues from the time and it's all marked Lego Space, with Blacktron being introduced as the villain without actually being identified as villains!

Just because they dressed all in black and had spaceships with vaguely sinister names doesn't mean they're villains!!

I remember I didn't even view them as villains until Space Police came along and started locking them up. And if anything that just turned me against the Space Police. Fascists!

Morrisons has some Lego sets at discount. Most already cleared out at one of my locals but picked up an Artic Explorers set I've been keeping an eye on for a while for a fiver.

Unikitty microscope bought in the Lego store sale yesterday. Yay! We are going to do sparkly science! With colours! And Joy! And all our friends! Also got the new LM2 Benny's Space Squad. It is proving to be as rare as hens eggs. None left in the Lego store itself despite them limiting it to two per customer. Back in store next week but I found a box hidden behind a pile of other LM2 sets in a different store. Phew. Several of the LM2 sets look really decent. Sadly despite looking quite good I can see Uni kitty's sweetest friends ever shelf warming like crazy running against the Space Squad. Other new City and Creator sets looking good too. Lots to pick up other the next few months and/or when they go to B&M. Pizza Vans everywhere still.

When they go to B&M...they remain the same price!
I am seeing reports of Benny's Space Squad being scalped online so it is the category of 'buy it on sight' if I see it.

It appeals to older fans in a big way and is an obvious buy multiples set

Likely to fly slightly more under the radar feel. Lego sets are usually about 5-10% cheaper in B&Ms around here.

genuinely never seen the CMF acronym until now, had to click through and read the article before I twigged! It's about time, anyway...
It looks like a LEGO Batman ongoing magazine is starting in Germany in a couple of weeks.

Spotted on the shelves on the way home! I don't know Batman well enough to know which it's supposed to be - grey costume, bit grim looking, stubbled? Next issue is a classic-looking Robin.

I am still finding no joy in locating Benny's space chums battle pack. It appears to be scalped wherever I look! Not even the Glasgow Lego store had any left!

Saw Bennys pack and the rest yesterday. Was awfully tempted, but had already spent a silly amount of money on other things.

Agents Phil and M are on full alert for a Benny's space folk pack for Burns. Who will succeed first?
