A...LEGO..shop? I must check it out when next in Cardiff. -Ralph There used to be one in Birmingham. The prices tended to be absurdly high.

Well, LEGO is already absurdly expensive. Which is why I don't have much of it, despite loving it.

I was very surprised to see wave 3 minifigs in Sainsburys this evening. Surprised both to see wave 3 and also because they never sold waves 1 or 2!
I could see no magic dots anywhere on the packaging that told me which was which. Bought 4 and got a doubler. Sigh.
I have sumo dude, chap with ghettoblaster and female tennis player. Not too taken with this wave thus far, to be honest.
Doublers now go to live on my desk at work.

The dots are like little braile markings at the bottom on the back. They are not that visible. I think somebody on PCs posted link marked out the dots with a pen to show what to watch out for.
I find most of the toys in that range actually work as doublers and/or army builders in play value(i.e the tennis player, the baseball dude).

If you don't know how to look for them, you wouldn't even notice the dots. They look like tiny air bubbles caught in the seal.

They're hard to see. I managed today, but what I thought was the Samurai turned out to be a swap of the race driver I have a swap now of a figure that has no duplicate cred. I did however get the Mummy and he's pretty cool. ===KEN

In the shop I couldn't see them at all. Now that I have examined the packets at home I have found them. N ot easy as they are the same colour as the packets!
Got the mountaineer and the alien (great day to get that one!).

I was surprised to see several pegs of Wave 3 minifigs in John Lews today, as they never got waves 1-2 in. £1.95, so slightly cheaper too. I got the racing driver and airman.

You can normally get a Lego Ackbar for a couple of pounds on ebay. That's how I got mine.

Wha-wha-what? There are LEGO Mon Calimari dudes? -Ralph Oh yes, our very own Nick inadvertantlky alerted me to the fact. Click on the link in this post: You want crazy prices? After nearly a year from its release, this bad boy is still 80 quid in Toys'r'us down from an eye-watering 100 when it first came out. I saw one built up in a cabinet in the Legoland store and it's pathetically small. There's lego mon cal jedi too.

I would'nt say no to a Clone Trooper.
I had £5 left in Tesco Clubcard vouchers today, so I picked up a Hoth battle set featuring a ship and three figures.
