Darkov on the tfw2005 boards offers decent repro parts, one of which was a head for Siren, so I asked him to mould it in yellow so I can give Nightbeat a proper head. You'll have to excuse the poor pictures, I have neither the set up or camera for close up shots:
The yellow is slightly off, but close enough for me. Just need to paint his face orange now, not sure on the shades though, either red, sliver or blue.
I thought the Nightbeat toy was awesome when I was a kid, and at the end of the day, isn't that all that counts?
Sorry Bluey, you're right. Please let me know what else you thought was awesome as a kid so I can adjust my collecting habits accordingly.
Sorry, I didn't mean it like that Graham! Just that I guess there are all sorts of reasons for something being good or not.
I should have prefaced that statement by saying that of course, from a technical point of view, the Nightbeat toy is quite bad, with his weird proportions, huge arms and tiny little locked together feet.
Anyone got a Fracas to hand? He's the Targetmaster supplied with Cyclonus Scourge.
I think the peg that forms his handle is a 5mm peg but could someone check for me. (indeed I think all te TMs have 5mm pegs but I'm unable to check myself not owning any Tragetmasters before the 1988 ones)
