I took more photos than last year, but failed to take any that actually captured the scale of the convention, and my camera floated away from me on Saturday evening, so I didn't take that many. Tut tut. Here is Nick hard at work. For those of you who don't know, his head is actually that big blue face, with a little fake head worn like a hat. Ralph gets ready to start rubbing himself with Constructicons. Later he would go and drunkenly use his credit card to buy that huge tub of Manta Force men on ebay for £250, but he won't remember that until it turns up at his doorstep. Overlord Mountain. There was originally going to be one Overlord, then Andy cooly rolled up with his box of Overlords. We ended up with 11 in total, again I failed to take a photo of all of them together. James and Nick pose by the figures which they singlehandedly drove the price up threefold and stopped any mortals from ever hoping to own one. Bastards I have a dreadful feeling that this might be the only photo of me from the convention Some of Toy-Fu's modest selection. I believe we ended up with enough stuff to fill all our tables with product three times over. Just under half of the main hall. Not sure what the final attendance figures were but I know it was around 570 or so, there were worries that we would hit the limit on legal capacity numbers. Ralph misunderstands the name 'Toy-Fu' and challenges Nick to a fight. Ralph is now lying in bits in a junker box The Turnbull worries us with Takotank Sarah's Grimlock costume. She is in the US military, and constructed in a military base in South Korea. I have no idea how she got it here. Oh wait, Dinobots can fly. My haul :v I did forget to include my Action Master Thundercracker original and custom in the group shot! So yaaay! Does anyone else have any photos to share?

Matt (the other Matt), your photos are NSFW on account of them having filenames of "auto-ass" before the number.
But, damn! You lot get sexier by the year.

Alas, I never took any photos at AA and as for the TMUK group shot - I was sitting in the bar when that was took but seemed more than happy to just drink as much beer as I could!

Got some more photos which my buddy Mark (the New Zealand chap) took! I was wandering down the corridor and bought an Omega Sentinel Perceptor. Is the gun big enough? TF@themoon's collection. Their delicious delicious collection Rumble and Ravage. I think they won the Cosplay competition Swope! An incredible Cobra Com - OLD SNAKE costume! Megatron... ...and Megatron when he was a young girl! Rodimus Minor A different Rodimus Wazzzzpinator! FRANSTORMERS! One day I will own one of these hats The excellent Grimlock that won second prize. The best part was the head hanging off the back! Soundwave Grimlock vs Megatron! Where was Simon Furman at this point?? Arcee Garry Chalk's rather excellent blues singing!

That is truly an epic signing that you have evidence of there Andy! Absolutely brilliant.
Interesting to compare the photographs of the Toy-Fu spread with what it looked like by halfway through the Saturday (considerably thinner...)

Wahey, I've just noticed I turn up in one of James pics, credited as Mark Stevenson's genetic clone. Which of course, I certainly am not. Honest. No weird experiments going on here...
BTW, how on Earth did the Grimlock only land second in the cosplay competition?!!

Quite rightly, some kids won.

This is a good thing. You worry about adults that need to justify dressing up with a different name.

Ravage and Frenzy/Rumble won, probably, as Ralph says, it had a lot to do with them being kids.

It was clearly a sympathy vote for the kids to have won. I think maybe they would have run off crying or something like that if they didn't win (and I don't mean that in a sarcastic way before anybody picks me up on that). The kid who played Rumble/Frenzy (delete as appropriate) didn't even want to speak so it was obvious the judges had to curry favour with them and give them the winners medal.

Remember that it is much harder for a little kid to make a costume than a grown adult!

The girl dressed as Ravage was Frenzy last year! She's working her way through the cassettes, and is adowwwable!
While it's hard to dispute the awesomeness of Grimlock, Swoop and Wheeljack were my favourites.

I liked Megatron. Some toy and panel pics: www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=200715&l=6337a9d56d&id=658130492While downloading them I realised I didn't have any people pics. D'oh! My camera started playing up on Sunday afternoon so some of my pictures didn't save, including my haul and the customs on display at Sensible Collectables.

Wheeljack lighting up was pretty cool, but I could've done without getting bashed by Swoop's wings whenever she went past. On the other hand, the reaction of the basketball players in the lift when she went in was pretty amusing...
