Does the head only fold forwards for rude-mode or can it fold backwards for a more sane torso?

You can't fold it back between the legs, if that's what you mean?
It will however turn 180 degrees and fold flat against the rest of the shuttle. That doesn't look too offensive and might even really work if they make the shuttle bright cyan for Liokaiser.
