The mp04s manual has a hidden message that Rodimus is coming.

At least the trailer isn't cardboard for him. He does looks good.
Does a gold Fort Max mean there'll be a reissue in the near future? [/wishful thinking]

[/wishful thinking] Does the trailer mean that it will be a normal sized figure with a large trailer, aka the Prime release, or will the entire thing fit in the normal Masterpiece box, so Rodimus will be tiny, aka an Alternity figure?

As nice as a Max reissue would be, I'm guessing that the pictures of him and other Car Robots are just a tenth anniversary display.
I hadn't realised the MP was going to be Rodimus Prime rather than Hot Rod. I'm now more interested. I like that.

It's less the display, more the existance of a gold chromed Fort Max. If it IS a lucky draw item, then it is new and means the mold may be being brought out again. Of course, it may just be a fan-custom, or specially made for the convention. We just don't know.

Apparently the Fort Max was a custom, so no reissue for us

If he's the size of Grimlock AND has the trailer... it sounds like a painfully expensive purchase!

He's not on my list, but he does look good actually. Dynamic looking. I wonder if he'll have a Matrix?

Will probably be around the £150 mark using MP-04 as a guideline..

Just had a look at Kapow's web site, and MP Rodimus is available to pre-order at £127.95 + P&P.

Not far off then! Not a bad price to be fair, shame I dont have the £130 to pre order it, as they need payment up front.

I'll need to see a full colour final product before I decide, £127 is a lot, but not a lot more than I paid for grimlock and a whole lot more than MP Megatron thanks to Cuta. Then again I could wait for the inevitable western release and get it for under £80.
The trailer is to similar to the original, I would have liked to see it do more or look sleeker and must be adding a lot of cost for something that will likely spend its life in the box.

It would be great if Rodimus had a voice chip that said: "I'm not shit. I'm not shit."
I would totally buy it then.

Rodimus and grimlock are really making MP Prime and Megatron look quite primative and blocky as well as huge. I like that they seem to have settled on consistant size now.

I quite like the character of Rodimus Prime. Butthen, my only point of reference is his appearances in the Marvel UK comics.

Then again I could wait for the inevitable western release and get it for under £80 I think a western release depends entirely on the success of Grimlock when he arrives in Toys'r'us. Did Starscream actually come out anywhere in the UK? Did Tesco have it? -Nick
