I always enjoyed the pronunciation of Galaxy Convoy in Galaxy Force.

I worry they will be very fragile. I don't think I'll be getting any unless I come across them very cheap.
I hope we get some new repaints out of the line.

That metallic Bumblebee looks particularly nice, though they do seem to have something of a Christmas bauble vibe, especially the jade Bulkhead.

The new pictures of Japanese Animated gave me a chuckle. My first impression was: They look like they're all dead. Because, as we all know, when a robot dies, it first turns black, but later, upon becoming a ghost, returns to its' natural color, only with a see-through tinge... Pete

Animated Optimus Prime Trailer
Why didn't Hasbro do this for the toy?
It was in the cartoon from the pilot.
Could we see it for Japan only?

It's a conspiracy. Clearly we must all write to our MP's immediately.

Bumblebee amazes me how terrible he looks in both modes.
Prime looks decentish, I guess.

I still wouldn't be surprised to see them arrive via the same route as Ani Shockwave and Skywarp eventually. Despite Hasbro theres not been much we haven't gotten lately.

Worry not, folks. It just so happens a bunch of us are off to the States in June and will be able to keep our eyes open for said grail-like characters.

On that topic I was meaning to ask if you were interested in a shopping trip around Orlando preBotcon for just such items? We're thinking of hiring a car for the day.

Andy We got them through regular channels as well as the recent grey market imports. As for Voyagers, I wouldn't take that as read. Remember that Seaspray and Bludgeon were shown at Toy Fair, though that's no guarantee of their release. I always take a wait and see approach with Hasbro UK. Don't expect anything then everything we get is a bonus.

On the plus side of such crap news, TRU is getting in MP Grimlock....
Wonder if he'll be cheaper than Kapow's £125?

If I remember correctly, the UK-released Masterpiece Optimus Prime was around £70 at full price a couple of years ago so I imagine it'd be a bit more than that but certainly less than £125. (A presumably plastic Masterpiece has less to it than the £100 ROTF Devastator.) However, TRU do tend to take good discounts off their exclusives after a fairly short period.

But they also tend to overcharge a bit too. Like 2 deluxe toys £30. So when they discount them to £20 its still not particularly cheap. Price wise I'd expect £70 as its $70 in Canada. Its also a lot smaller than Prime was. If its dropped to £50 though its worth it for anyone who ever liked the original Grimlock. Andy

£70 is perhaps a bit much to shell out, but he could comfortably go on the santy wish list!

TF2005 announced Rodimus and Cybertron Mode Ironhide to come as TRU exclusives in Autumn in the US.
Looking like Blackout will need to be JAP import though I guess.

At first, looking upon this thread - I thought "I'm missing Animated too"....
I cannot stress how much it pains me that I don't have an Animated Cliffjumper, Arcee or Cybertron Ratchet. It also pains me that It's likely I will never have these figures, or the following Rodimus, Ironhide or Blackout toys. All because I am a coward and will not ship from overseas.
I will get over this fear one day, and the world will be swell. I want that Rodimus more than I want frosty beers.
