By all means, be excited. But I am not a Wrestling fan and mostly know this Rock fellow from a bad episode of Star Trek: Voyager and that Scorpion King movie. So you can all shout: "THE ROCK!" as much as you like!

The question of whether Dwanye Johnson is a decent voice actor seems a perfectly reasonable one to me, given that he has been cast in a voice part.
After all, being good at one thing doesn't necessarily make you good at other things.
Besides, if folk shout The Rock at me I tend to ask which one? After all, there are a lot of them on the planet.....

From that Planet 51 trailer the astronaut doesn't sound anything like Mr Maivia, but then again it is hard to judge from a trailer when The Rock isn't talking about sticking something up another mans backside. He must be one of teh campest men alive.
For the record, I hate the character of The Rock. i always have and always will. Bloody childish nonsense.
He was great in Get Smart playing a traitor, and hopefully he will do a good job hunting traitors.

Finally got around to watching Transformers Prime: Ep.1.
Occurred to me that Cliffjumper has bull horns on his alt mode and horns on his head in robot mode.
The Rock has a tattoo of a bull head on his right arm, earning him the nickname 'The Brahma Bull'.
