It is indeed a great mix 'n' match gimmick. Needs more exposure too.
I'm looking foward to putting all of Recon Ironhide's knives and stuff on Brawn when he arrives.

It's a gimmick it does nowt for me. As a kid I would have hated it. I never liked accessories. Just lots of bits to lose.

Straxus needs adding to the list too.
I got Brawn today and he's got Lego people clinging to him for a free ride.

If Lego just printed the names of Transformers on a block they'd be better than BTRs effort. And quite fun in an minimalist way.

I remember that clearly because I wanted it for Christmas at the time but never got it! There was also a German (?) line of transforming lego robots in the 80s that I always thought looked badass, I shall try to recall what they were called! EDIT: Tente Roblock! Yes, I need to get some of these off ebay!

I'm sure I've heard of the Roblock name somewhere before. Maybe I saw a few of them in a toy shop when I was younger as that's the only way I think I could have possibly seen them.

Andy There is a corollory to this that we've missed until now: If the 3mm bars work with Lego hands then they will work with Lego clip plates. Which means you can build weapons from KLego and attach them to your Transformers. Which explains why Philip ordered two types of clip plate and some black cylinder bricksJazz likes his new Shoulder Cannons.
