Not sure if this has been mentioned, and April 23rd has been and gone, but The Dark Judges was in World Book Night this year, copies were given out to the throng. www.worldbooknight.org/books/item/10003-judge-dredd-the-dark-judgesI read it and thought it was pretty decent, and way ahead of its time, although the short chapters could be limiting, character development was more than fine.

In happier Rebellion news, I see that the Tooth app now includes the Megazine.

Had a peak at the Ezquerra HC today. Lovely stuff!
Sadly it does have the reported print error - the final page is missing from the last story.
Andu: IF I got one could you get CE and JW to sign it for me?

Saw Case Files 20 in Waterstones this morning.
Hurry up and ship my copy Amazon!
I've got a spreadsheet with all the Progs and Megs on it by date and had noticed that recent volumes had been running a bit ahead of the progs with the megs. Based on the info for the new volume (prog856-887, meg2.44-2.56) I'm guessing the next next will be 888-918 and 2.56 - 2.68 covering all of Wilderlands and the end of McGrudder's second reign.

Finished Dredd Case Files 20. A bit Meh to be honest. But since that's brought me to the border of Wilderlands I'm continuing with that and my other Hamlyn trades (Pit, Balance of Justice, Scorpion Dance and the two Darkness volumes)

Nick gifted me a mysterious tube. Contained within was a Carlos poster signed by the man himself as well as Wagner and Grant!

I have been doing some reading of Dredd trades whilst I was off, notably the "Day of Chaos:The Fourth Faction" trade. I did a double-take at the "Armco 419" Blaster which is a significant element in"Nadia". Looked at it again. There was no doubt. That wasn't a normal blaster, it was a NERF Blaster. Specifically a "Maverick Rev-6" done in a matt-black scheme instead of the usual canary yellow. I figure that either Ben Willsher slipped it in as an in-joke, or he used it as reference because the similarity is too close to be coincidence I feel (you can even see the slide that you pull back to cock the plunger, and the little lip at the end of the blaster barrel). It am amused me to see Dredd hunting for a perp who had shot someone with a NERF gun for some reason...

Have you read the following volumes? Not yet. No sign of them in the library as yet. However, the fact that they aren't labelled with numbers means there is a higher chance of them coming in (I have noticed that any trades which are titled as numbered parts of a whole tends to lead to my library only getting in one part, whereas trades which follow on from each other without a number in the title there seems to be a higher chance of them ending up with multiple volumes. For some reason I cannot fathom.) Karl
