Yes a terrible loss. His slick style was right on the money for me.

Caught up on last part of the Judge Pin story. Yes, bit of an anti-climax for that story but fine in the overall picture.

It's nice that Pin didn't overstay her welcome.

I think from what I understand, the site of Pin's room of judged Judges helmets is meant to be the burial pit where he lost it in the flashback, which would be backed up by there being bodies underneath when the floor collapsed and in turn explain why the floor was so unstable.
The only problem with that is that the burial pits are out doors and outside the city.
If it's not one of the burial pits, how did the bodies get under the floor? That's too many for her to have offed personally.

I don't think Pin was a lone wolf. There is more to this. Mark my words.

Apparently Travelling Man in these parts is doing something for it. I may pop in if time allows.

Nor mine. It's been hit and miss for a while. Always a gamble as to whether it will be Saturday or Monday.

Found the start of this week's Dredd a bit upsetting, however expected it was.
Here's a character that been around since I started reading comics gone :-(
We know who's responsible too, and I liked the wording of the text to indicate that yeah, there's some doubt in the previously given official diagnosis
I'll miss her.

Had a bit of a lump in the throat with this week's Dredd. Masterful scripting and art.
Elsewhere, Deadworld was unusually coherent.

Further to my post on The 13th Floor, the issue is pretty ace. Mix of art is superb and two backups match the main. Latter of two is reprint of Scream Issue 1 and really has me hankering after they collected edition.

I thought it was the most coherent story in those specials yet. It made sense and it continued the previous narrative in a way that made sense unlike the Vigilant stuff. Very enjoyable. I thought I'd compare the reprint in the back to the original to see how yellowed my Screams are...

My copy appears to have been sent to M's address, despite me having updated my order address details on Rebellion's online shop months ago and getting an email confirmation of this!

I picked up the trade of THE SMALL HOUSE as Travelling Man had it discounted in a promotion. I found it interesting how I found it worked better as a serial compared to reading the story in one go. Still very good but think it worked better as a weekly serial.
