Bizarre. Presumably this is primarily aimed at the American market. Aimed at British and American markets. -Ralph

"New colour" = no sale to Burns. -Ralph New colour is on the black and white tales and its by John Higgins, someone who knows how to colour old art properly. Will give it a whirl.

Hmmm. The latest I have ever had it is on a Wednesday (same day as shops). Shoot customer service a query on the site. They're very helpful and efficient at sorting any problems.

Picked up the latest Hachette HC as it's The Volgan War.
Very much looks like they are stopping the ABC collections at that point, as a great deal of the back matter is dedicated to what comes after and to be fair it's a good end point. Zippo joins the Warriors, we know Ro-Jaws is about - Blackblood is with Volkhan and Mek-Quake is on talk shows.

Well I think before we revisit the Warriors - the Ro-Jaws/Joe Pineapples tale drawn by Bisley is to come out.

Have to say I am not a fan of the cover dress. I think what they did with the Hachette Dredd collection was much better.

'Essential' always suggests cheap and plain to me. That design is trying to say 'economical'.

Respectully disagree, and plain doesn't have to be ugly.

Unexpected parcel retrieved from the sorting office this morning, turned out to be the last combi-subscription gift - the Tula Lotay Judge Anderson print. Lovely, A3, nice reproduction, good quality paper, totally ruined because it was sent flat in flimsy cardboard and got folded in half in the post. Why did they not use tubes?
This annoys me only because it was clearly going to get ruined - just like the prints they include with the Megazine every month. Pointless. I've never had one of those turn up that isn't creased, torn or dented in some way. Complete waste of time and money.
