Hmmmm. The recent Regened issue left me cold, compared to previous ones. Felt rather bland. Not thrilled to see the return of the KO Ghostbusters.

They do nothing for me full stop.
stick em in a special if they must do them but don't interrupt the weekly Prog. If they're trying to get younger readers on board it won't work, if they come back next week they'll find things look VERY different.

I like the concept and the stories are fine, but I agree with Phil. I don't see the reason why they're now slotted into the regular run every three months. There's no continuity there for younger readers and an interruption for older ones. Rebellion seem to have gone mad with the specials this year. It's good they feel the the readership is there for there to be 4 all ages 2000AD issues a year instead of one, but anyone not in the know buying this and then getting the next issue for their child will be in for a shock. Potential complaint territory. Infact I don't think that last issue was *really* all ages anyway. I wouldn't give that to any kids in my class, it felt more teen to me.

I agree they would work better as standalone Specials.

same, it is a bit disruptive to stories as well, even if they do want to put them in a run, put them the week before there jumping on issues, rather than halfway through a set of stories

There's usually three or four points like that throughout the year.

Yes, that's what they did last year with the ReGened special.

I have noticed a few newsagents have kept the recent Regened issue on shelves alongside the regular Tooth issues which have come out since.

Maybe could have been like those Garfield collections used to be. #showingmyage

There were previous prints like that done in the 80s: my copies are in my missing annuals box.

Much easier way to read this kind of material. I just find these big heavy Dredd ones physically hard to handle and I don't think those spines will last long without damage. The books twist if I try to pick them up with one hand. -Ralph
