Read the Havn floppy. It made no sense as a serial and it makes less sense read in one go! Er. What?

I felt a bit like that. I was looking forward to re-reading it because I remember not understanding a word of it reading it in parts. I thought I was doing okay for the first half and then... nope. No idea.

I think the Anderson thing is ahead of something down the line with Judge Death, but I agree it was not a winner.

Rushed, confusing, too much rammed in and didn't really make much sense.
And that Lawless....

End of Days was a rare misfire. I haven't a clue what happened in the last episode.

I've never been a fan of songs in comics. They just don't work. You need to be able to hear a tune, and as far as I could see there wasn't oen. I just skimmed it and looked at the pictures. A disappointing way to wrap up the latest series.

It's been done right ONCE: Play It Again Sam. They told you the tune for each song.
I still, nearly FORTY years later have "Today's the day the Human League come to get you!" in my head......
...... and have just this minute realised the joke behind the Human League name in relation to the theme of the story!

Not read the latest Lawless yet.
The Roger Langridge Muppets comics had song and dance numbers...that worked!

Agreed, The Muppets comic by Langridge is a classic. Worth tracking down the Omnibus. Lawless in the Meg...didn't quite pull it off. Alan Moore has tried it with LOEG and I don't think it quite worked there either.

So 2200 dropped through the door today reminding me I am still at last Christmas. I might just start reading weekly again and fill in the last nine months as time permits or I'll never know what's going on.

did anyone else meg have 2 pages out of order?? im convinced 2 of mine were in the wrong order in the dredd story I know exactly what you mean. There’s a character who gets shot and then is alive on the next page. But the strip reads ok otherwise. I’m not sure whether it’s right or not.

I have the Essential Dredd America trade arriving today, will report back on recolours.

It's modern style colouring, which is quite jarring as it's the era of Dredd with the two page spread in painted colour. Shame, as the painted stuff in the rest of the book is so much better - a couple of Jeff Anderson painted strips in there - now just imagine if he'd painted his bits of Target:2006.
