Phil went to buy the FCBD issue and found it on eBay in a shop in Kingston
Burns said he was looking for one so I got one for him
It was then I realised I'd just bought the 2020 special! TWICE!!
Phil then tracked down 2 copies of 2021 special.
Don't worry, life is going well for Burns and he's back to work soon so I'll start sending him **** again!

Yeah but the 2020 Best of 2000Ad one you sent me never came out last year so still new to me.
What happened to the Best Of series? I paid for a signed cooy of #1 from FP that never came out. Did Covid bin the series?

Indeed. Gosh that speech/thought bubble style on page 1 of Dredd looks familiar. Where have we seen it before? Sample at downthetubes.net/?p=130277

Sub still seems a bit wonky. Yesterday progs 2247 and 2248 turned up together! Same here, my 2248 came at the weekend which I duly cracked to read but was confused by all the part 2s. Wrote CS but 2247 came Tues anyway.

We could do a double feature with Andy being told Skip Tracer has been extended for three more series. This week’s prog was the first time Skip Tracer ended with THE END and not SKIP TRACER WILL RETURN. Dare we wish this to be the end…?

Mick McMahon cover goodness on this week's prog. A rare physical purchase, coloured straight from his pencils by the look of it.

Opened to usual poly bag from Rebellion this morning to find the subscription gift facsimile of the pilot issue inside instead of this week's prog. Not sure why they go to the bother of making something nice like this then sending it in a way that will guarantee it turns up bent, creased, ripped or a mixture of all three. This is like the nice Tula Lotay poster print of Anderson they did a few years ago, which arrived folded in half because they sent it flat.

Going to assume a poorly negotiated contract with the fulfilment company, as I don't think it's Rebellion themselves posting them out.

Not sure who does it now. I know it used to be Forbidden Planet years ago but I don't think it is now. Even though, Rebellion should be taking an interest in that kind of thing.

There will be a tolerance for x amount of complaints under whatever contract they have. So chances are, while it's impacted you fine folks, not enough people are making a stink about it regularly for it to be a factor.

It's quite violent this prototype. Mach One cuts a man's head clean off with a karate chop on panel and there's a lot of Shako biting people's heads off too.
