The Fandom (capital F, capital T) will never be happy. Somebody on some message board somewhere would be incensed that there isn't a Classics Roadfire or Bulletbike or someone equally obscure that happens to be their favourite/first Transformer. I think the only way for The Fandom to remain relatively content is for the Classics/Universe line to keep going. As long as characters are still coming out, Classics Roadhandler/Splashdown/guy on the far left of the panning shot of the destroyed Autobot colony at the start of Cosmic Rust will still exist 'in potentia' and hope remains. -Nick Such sage wisdom needs to be recorded for posterity. I think the same applies not just to Classics toys, but also to Spotlight comics.

They are most jolly, but all pale before the awesomeness of Universe Legends G2 Megatron!

Is 2005 taking ages to show up for anyone?
I don't remember seeing Brawn among the copious Botcon 2008 images on Seibertron.com. Have pictures come out since?

I think it might only have been shown in one of the panels. I'll check my pics in case. But it was a fairly cartoon accurate robot mode at the same size as the original so whats not to love.

I just hope they're gunna do a 'proper' sized (delux) version of Jazz. And Brawn for that matter. But these do look nice, even though I'm not gunna get any Legends (yeah righ).

I'm more impressed with the Legends Class Animated. The colour on the engines make it look like Storm Cloud has chest vents and Treadbolt looks pretty bland.

Hmm. Not sold on Powerglide's "Player 2" colours. Treadbolt/Jetfire looks okay though.
The little Animated chaps are "Activators"- they're going to be £4.99 and a bit bigger than legends, if I remember correctly from the Botcon reports. They're pretty much direct competition with Ban Dai's Ben 10 4" figures and basic Power Rangers.

Still not sure about he activators generally, but Bumblebee looks fairly nice, possibly better looking than the deluxe version and would create a more to scale line up.

Wasn't Tailwind the Decepticon Micromaster Air Strike Patrol member that was the A-10?

I believe that's the reference they were going for, yes. The new TRU exclusive Mudflap repaint looks a lot like Erector, too, and lets not forget Cybertron Downshift as Big Daddy. Somebody at Hasbro is clearly a Micromaster fan.

Treadbolt isn't too bad. The colours seem very close to those of the "Blue Angels" display team. It is a decent enough colour scheme, but doesn't really do a great deal for that mold. Stormcloud is... arguably the worst of the three colour schemes that we've seen on that mold. If I do get any version I will probably go for the white one.

Dreadwind is easily my favourite version of the mold. Jetfire is my least. Treadbolt is fairly interesting but I think I'll need to see in the plastic before I make a decision.
Its a shame they havent been able to use the right names all the time but I much prefer them using another correct MM name than attempting to create some butchered sounds kinda like the same thing name like Fracture.

It's back! Back to torment us! I thought Universe was supposed to be a random homage sub-line- what's a supreme-size figure doing in there? A supreme size figure that's already been released twice in the last five years? And really sat the second time, even when he was a major part of the current cartoon series. Expect plenty of units to be available, as they say.

It would almost make sense if it was repainted very close to the original movie version, orange instead of yellow and painted over the clear doors of death on the chest, but if it is just the Armada version again, well thats maddness.
