Four pages left for Part 1. I've redesigned the Nucleon facility to look more like it was built on the ruined one in the comic. (I'll be editing it on the last page for the collected edition). Andy

Glad you approve. Layouts for another page started but at Ralph's recording so won't get done until tomorrow. Andy

Looking very good - I like the idea of the new Nucleon Facility incorporating the foundations of the old one, literally building on its work as it were.
Good stuff.

Thanks.
Next page should be drawn and lettered later tonight. Really happy with it so far, which is unusual.

Two pages in the same week?! It's Christmas come super-early or really late. COMMENTARY Quite pleased with this page, and if you look at the windows you will see some shadowy figures hiding there... You'll notice our Nucleon enhanced Dinobots are back to normal, all the dents and damage has gone (further emphasising Nucleon's wonder fuel status) while Slag retains some of the knocks he's incurred along the way. A few digital enhancements to the panel, but the real meat and potatoes of it was all pencil and ink.

Thanks Martin.
I thought the background needed to be well established in this shot , especially given how much of Part 2 is set in the one facility.

COMMENTARY I originally drew Panel 2 straight on, but I thought I should tilt it and make it off-kilter as if it is the last thing Grimlock sees before he goes off-line. Andy

Grand, you can really sense that a big cliffhanger reveal is just over the page. The tension mounts as the countdown continues... Ah, but just the countdown to the half-way mark. Don't let the momentum dissipate! I suggest that Andy does page 1 of Part 2 before taking his next break, just so he doesn't get tempted to leave it here... Martin

Have had the Kaptain over for a couple of days and Ralph so work was stopped to be sociable.
However, the penultimate page has been inked and will be scanned and lettered later today. Just need to get dinner and draw tomorrow and Tuesday's Daily Straxus.

Love what you've done with Fangry's facial expressions. Must be a nice change to draw someone so expressive after having to do so many Prime and Grimlock face shots!

Actually I hated drawing Fangry.
Not for his face, but the bizarre hair and metal nonsense. It makes no sense in my head, he has no Pretender tech on him, he's a headmaster so why the hair?
ARGH!

We've reached the end of Part One of Another Time and Place! Don't worry I'll be hopping on Part Two fairly shortly. I have a few edits on earlier pages of Part 1 for the print version which all things being equal should be available Scotcon weekend (29/30 March this year). COMMENTARY As with the beast in the earlier pages I did take a bit of a cue from Stewart "Staz" Johnson's work in terms of how Megatron looks, with a few tweaks here and there. A less organic looking skeletal face was in order I felt. I decided to make the technicians the same type of creature that originally confronted Grimlock at the nucleon well in the Marvel Comic. If you look very closely you will see Krok and Octopunch in the background in panel 1. Of course I had to use the traditional next box from the Marvel UK comic. It wouldn't have felt right otherwise.
