Same here. Maybe we should be Grokes together. Although that would kinda defeat the point I guess.
You are overshadowed by your loneliness and darkness. People fear you and tend to avoid you, but it’s just because they don’t understand you.
You are not dangerous and you have never harmed anyone. Your gloomy thoughts follow you but you are still used to getting what you like.
Yup, sounds like me.

Snufkin for me. You don’t care for material possessions – if you find something beautiful, you would rather write a poem about it, than own it.
You are truly regarded as a friend by others and they appreciate the wisdom you hold. You may get anxious if your personal space is invaded and you often want a little peace and quiet. The personal space part is certainly right!

A few years ago Andu, Ralph and I accidentally wandered into the Moomin store in Covent Garden while hunting DW locations. This morning they bring us good news of another London store we can visit:

What a fun thread. I love it when Doc' hates something and everyone winds him up about it and try to make him do stuff that relates to it, he he he... ahhhh.
So, I don't really know anything about 'Moomins'. I recognize them. Were they on telly when we were young? Are they cows? They've obviously made a revival?

Yes.
There was a stop motion animated series when I was a lad and a cel-animated series around 1990.

I vaguely remember the stop-motion, but couldn't tell you a thing about it. Is it really that famous and well-loved to warrant shops devoted to it?
And does The Doctor despise them so?

Yes.
They were children's books by Tove Jansson. Then adapted to stop-motion later on.
I think the Moomins occupy a similar headspace as Sylvanian Families for Ralph.

What's he got against Sylvanian Families?
(I myself have no special love for the ol' S.F. Surrounded as I am by them in a house full of WOMEN. ...though, they make good targets for marauding Decepticons, when everyone's out... WWHHUUUUHAHAAHAHAAA!!!!!)

"The squirrel with its magnificent tail" is sill a phrase my mum uses a lot. This episode gave me nightmares as a kid. I still remember waking up in the night in utter terror thanks to it: www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8RqiV_l-2s
