Group order for TFCC G2 Ramjet and TT Ani Cheetor

Thought I'd start this now. As the first previews are up its possible preorders will come along at any time, though I'd be (happily) shocked if it happened before Christmas.

It would be the same arrangement as PCP and Cyclonus. I'll make the order for anyone who wants either of the new club exclusives when the preorders start.

Based on the first attempt, Shipping will be around �6 per toy and customs about �10 provided there are about 10 toys ordered. Plus a bit for recorded uk post once I recieve them. Thats compared to shipping for a single figure of around �25-30 and a bit more than the �6-8 for customs.

I'll update this first post as/if people show an interest and any updates on price and release date.

This is all assuming FP don't put a limit on orders and that I am still a member at the time.

Based on past orders them what would a single figure cost from them to my door through this method inc the cost of the item itself? Sorry messed up the maths I think

The closest thing they have in stock is Airrazor. Shipping for that to the UK is $41.00. Ramjet is a straight repaint like this years SG Cyclonus and that cost $49. So one item would cost about $90 (£60) then customs would hit you for about £10 and because its express mail it goes via Parcelforce and they charge you the £13.50 fee. So the total is £83.50 for a single order.

Ordering 10 together
Ramjet x10 ($500) £325
Shipping $122 £85
Customs £72
Charge £13.50
Royal mail £3.50

Total is £499, so about £50 for each figure.

If you were to order 2 figures, so ramjet and Cheetor or 2 of either and were lucky enough to escape customs the price would also be about £50 but I haven't escaped customs with an express parcel from anywhere for a 2 years or so. If you did get hit by customs then you'd be back up to £60+ for each one.

Just going to start bumping this over the next few weeks as I think preorders will begin this month.

Using last years prices on this years toys and the current exchange rate (according to XE) If I order more than 10 in total prices will be

Cheetor $60 + $10 shipping +$14 customs = $84 = £52.12 + £1.30 customs handling fee = £52.42
Ramjet $45 + $10 + $11 = $66 = £40.90 + £1.30 = £42.20

Probably though the toys and shipping will have gone up and the exhange rate will vary so thats just a guide. Also allow for UK postage (fully insured, so probably special delivery next day) unless you'll be at AA and can wait till then.

I'm very on the fence now about Ramjet

On the one hand, I love G2, but on the other, I'm not sure if I can justify spending 45ish quid on a mold that I own six times over already. Plus it is Ramjet.

Anyone want to talk me into/out of it?

I know exactly how you feel, but I saw a custom of it and G2 Starscream years ago and that convinced me it was worth it if was ever made.

Plus it will look great alongside all last years G2 set.

Hmmmm given I'm unsure now, could you strike me off the Ramjet list for the moment? (My employment will also be shaky past October, I dont want to be outlaying too much on stuff I'm not sure about till I know what is going on!)

New pic of Ramjet with the vague promise of pre-orders "soon". How hard is it to say : 'on sale on date X' so folk can plan/budget? Even Matty Collector can do that!

Looks like pre orders will go up between 25th and 29th April. Hopefully we'll learn the price ahead of time.
