I think now that it's more likely than not that I will want a Ramjet. (Fingers crossed that it's closer to £40 than £50.)

If there is still an option can I be put down for a Ramjet as well? Any ideas on how much this will cost?

No clue, and apparently details will be up on Twitter first, going by their feed. In a mindboggling move, TFCC are still unable to say when pre-orders go up even though this is supposed to happen next week! Customers need to know this so they can budget for their products and know when to visit the site, surely?
I cannot wrap my head around why they cannot state that product Y will be on sale on date X. How hard can that be? I ask that as a serious question as my experience as a retailer is nil.
As I am now a club member, I shall withdraw my request to be part of the group order and will grab one myself. Presuming the order does not go live when I am at work however and is sold out by the time I go home!

Ralph, have you seen how high their shipping costs are? See the opening post and reply 7. That's why I'm not ordering one myself.

Personally, I don't feel right asking someone else to get me one when I have the entitlement as a member to get one myself. I'd rather that slot in a group buy be taken by someone who is not a club member who otherwise would be unable to get one.
If I miss out (due to when the pre-order goes up) and/or it costs me more (possibly pricing it out of my budget) it's just one of those things.

Oddly I feel completely the opposite as these are club exclusives I felt slightly bad last year that members missed out on PCP while I ordered for peeps that were not members. Of course with the insanely expensive international membership last year I didn't feel that bad.
Its entirely up to you Ralph but it'll be a smaller order than last year and the more I order the cheaper the for everyone and you wont be bumping anyone.
Currently based on twitter I'm working on $50 for Ramjet and $60 for Cheetor. We'll see though.

Ta Ralph.
If there's a slot free for G2 Ramjet, I'd like to be in. I've not had the energy to keep up with the rest of the thread, but just saying on the offchance.

Well I've dropped out, so dont' feel bad about taking any slots Ralph. The insane postage costs Fun Pub ask for mean that bulk buying really is the only way, unless you want to get stung by absurd postage and then high CUTA (Andy, I'm definately out on this one. I need to heavily restrict my buying now staff redundancies are on the cards D: )

The TFCC Twitter feed tells us to "enable the TFCC for our phone" if we haven't already. Their website still says nowt.
How ******** hard is it just to say "the toys go on sale on date x at time y"? I can't make up my mind if they don't know what they're doing or this is some bizarre attempt at hyping their products for fast sales.

Pre orders are up $52 for Ramjet and $58 for Cheetor.
So can everyone confirm what they want now that we know prices. I want to order with in the next 24 hours just to be safe.

What the hell? The non remoulded figure Ramjet is more expensive than Cheetor and its new head?
Ramjet $58 Cheetor $52 sorry for the earlier mistake.

Just a Cheetor for me, cannot justify Ramjet at that price.

For both Me Jaymz Alan
For Ramjet Phil Nigel Hero? Fortmax?
For Cheetor Mellowshade
Ordering 10 or figures will bring shipping down to around $12 /£8 each so not bad. The Cheetors also work out a little cheaper on postage probably due to the size of the box.
Ramjet $58 +$12 = $70 about £45 add 20% cuta plus £1 or £2 for fees it looks like being around £55. (£60 allowing a bit extra for exchange rate changes and the credit card fees)

I may or may not have ordered a magestically expensive Ramjet. At the crucial moment of verification my internet connection crashed. When I got back online to see if I had received a confirmation email I found that yahoo mail has apparently ceased to exist: 404 NOT FOUND! It has been doing this now for around half an hour.
I am close to losing complete perspective as to whether or not I have a vastly overpriced children's toy and am scant seconds away from having a childish hissy fit, possibly involving covering myself in the contents of an exploded coke can due to my crushed hand of doom.

Update from Twitter:
'The_TCC The TCC Over 50% sold on Ramjet. Cheetor is moving fast too!'
Yahoo mail still fooked. Going out for walk.

Alas, it's what these kind of things cost. I had considered Cheetor as it looks nice but stuck with Ramjet due to cost.
Meanwhile on Twitter: 'The_TCC The TCC Ramjet now at 65% sold through...' and ' The_TCC The TCC Cheetor is closing in on 50% sell through'
The website says: '....'.
They really need to sort out employing a webmaster!

They have been claiming to be upgrading the website for as long as I've been a member and people have been complaining even longer. Before Twitter there was almost no updates so Twitter is an improvement of sorts.
And yikes. They made 1200 Cyclonus and that was passed sometime between 50 and 65%. Meaning at least 1200 Ramjets sold in the first few hours. PCP took 3 days to sell 2000. This is only going to get worse each time now.
Anyway order placed frankly I guessed and maybe over estimated but it appears selling them later wont be too hard and theres always Toy Fu.
Oh and Ralph you think your purchasing experience was bad the same thing happened to me for Botcon but the total was over £1000. I was freaking big time.

Ho ho! I hope the price for Ramjet includes the electronic box with lights and sounds that the original toy had. Alas, no. I shall have to make my own lights and sounds. Now yahoomail is working again, my confirmation e-mail turned up. Ramjet secured. It's my big TF purchase this year so I can just about justify the mighty cost. My purchasing experience was actually quite smooth. It was just my flakey net connection and email problems that made it a hassle rather than the club store itself. The website update system is daft though. -Ralph
